Living With Integrity

Seek Within, That Which You Will Never Find Outside Yourself. Divine Co-Creators

I have noticed that in the professional sphere, as far as I have noticed, that many people choose to come to work, mainly with the intention of collecting a paycheck, which I completely understand, unfortunately, we all need money to survive in this world. I also feel very strongly about the fact that if you are going to work in a profession, you should certainly treat that profession, whatever it may be, with the dignity that its purpose entails, whether you are working in the medical field, or working at a fast food restaurant, you should do you best to do the best job you can, because when it comes right down to it, we are all humans, going through the trials, and challenges that this life can bring us, by working together.

Looking at the situation from a broader perspective, shows that we as a species, need to come together, for a common goal, and this goal cannot, and should not be in any way related, to the attainment of power, or wealth, but should instead encompass the very qualities that define us, in a way that reflects our divine nature, allowing us to act in a conscious way, and a way that is truly informed. I am not a preacher, I am not a priest, I am not a clergy member in any way, but I am a spiritual seeker, just as I know that many of you are. With this aspect being a common connection point for many of us, I feel it is our responsibility to share the knowledge that we have gained, which has been gained through our experiences, and has shown us the ways of living that truly brings fulfillment, and sustenance to not just the body, but the spirit, and the soul as well.

We are not pre-determined to face catastrophe, if we choose to change our ways, to become the best version of ourselves, in the ways that truly defines us, individually, and as a whole. This world is going through some major changes, and we as a species are also going through these changes with the planet, it is not uniquely specific to our home, and we must realize that in order for this world to be a place that is truly somewhere that we can be proud, and glad to call our home, by taking care of it, as well as one another, we can move in a direction that will allow us to flourish, in an all encompassing way.

Diversity is something that is a beautiful thing, and it is something that instead of turning against each other for these differences, we should take these differences, that help propel us in a direction of positive progress, and pursuit, and leave the things which hinder us, as individuals, and as a whole. Too often do we allow the hatefulness that can be very contagious, to infect us in a way, that feels as though the direction of our anger is justified, when at its most relevant truth, we are angry simply because someone else emanated that energy in our direction, in such a way, that it attached to us, leaving us feeling that same contempt for whatever reason, that they themselves do.

Being authentic is something that we must also work our hardest to do, in my opinion, because so many choose to follow others lifestyles, instead of creating their own, which does not bring true happiness, instead so many end up not in the careers they don't want to be in, or the relationships they do not want to be in, mainly because they chose to follow the same choices that someone else did, for whatever reason, which at the time, may have felt right on the surface, but we inherently know, within ourselves, if we take the time to truly look within, to find, and learn to define that which makes us happy, and allows us to have a fulfilling life, that we can not just be proud of, but be at peace with.

Live your life in a way, that defines you, and not in a way, that leaves you feeling as if something is missing.

Brightest Blessings.

I loved your piece. Talking about being authentic and doing the best at your job and caring for others is something we all need to affirm for the world.

I was always told change is good, and that change is hard to do. I am also learning that grief is not just “stages” that you have to go through and have to endure, (why do I always want to put a “but” after?) you can also get lost in the memories of whom you are grieving. Thank you for your insight.

We share like-minded thoughts. I, too, am a spiritual seeker, although I express it more as a conscious being considering all the ego attached to spirituality from my perspective. We should all strive to place integrity in our work, and the best way to do this is to live authentically and pursue what fulfills us best in our career paths. Great post 👍

"Peaceful Purpose" can refer to a variety of concepts or initiatives that focus on promoting peace, mindfulness, and a sense of meaningful direction in life. It can encompass personal practices, community initiatives, and broader societal goals. Here's an exploration of the concept: 1. Personal Peaceful Purpose Mindfulness and Meditation Mindfulness Practices: Incorporating mindfulness meditation into daily routines can help individuals find inner peace and clarity of purpose. Techniques like deep breathing, body scanning, and focused attention can reduce stress and enhance well-being. Journaling: Writing about daily experiences, goals, and reflections can help clarify thoughts and emotions, leading to a deeper understanding of one's purpose and a more peaceful mindset.

This was a very well written and engaging piece. Can't say I connected with it, I'm not a spiritual person and have never in my entire life felt a spiritual connection to any place, person, event, or thing. In fact, I actively avoid spiritualism of any kind. But I'm happy that other people have something positive their working towards in this way. As for the comment about anger, sadly, I have to disagree with you on your representation. Maybe it comes down to a difference in philosophy, but as you said, diversity of experience and thought is as much an asset as diversity of culture and colour and language. Specifically, the claim that we only feel anger because someone else gave us theirs, logically in this system, anger must have no beginning since it is only ever given and never created ex nihilo. Meaning that it doesn't exist at all, which I can't agree with.

  • Very well written!
