Laughter really is contagious — and that’s good
Laughter is a universal language that can bring people together and make them feel good. But did you know that laughter is also contagious? Studies have shown that when one person laughs, it triggers a response in others to laugh as well. This is known as "contagious laughter" and it has a variety of benefits for both the person laughing and those around them.

Wednesday Series Review
Wednesday, Wednesday, always so dreary and morose. But let me tell you, Netflix's new series Wednesday is anything but a downer. This dark comedy, created by Alfred Gough and Miles Millar and directed by Tim Burton, follows the apathetic and mysterious Wednesday Addams (played by Jenna Ortega) as she navigates her way through the twisted world of Nevermore Academy.
Have you watched Barbie lately?
So, I recently was stuck at home with my 6-year-old daughter who was unwell. She wanted to watch the Barbie movie on Netflix.
Villainess Review: Kate Kelsey (Good Wife's Guide to Murder)
Tubi's penchant for releasing their Lifetime-esque films vastly increased in 2022, and I'm glad to see that they're not wasting time with this trend in 2023. On January 14, Lifetime aired the true crime film, How to Murder Your Husband: The Nancy Brophy Story, a retelling of Nancy Brophy's murderous plot against her longtime husband. Shortly before this, Tubi gave us this film: Good Wife's Guide to Murder.

The Last Unicorn, written by Peter S. Beagle, is a timeless fantasy novel that explores themes of loss of innocence, age, and the power of imagination through the story of a unicorn who sets out on a quest to find her kind. The novel begins with the iconic line, "The unicorn lived in a lilac wood, and she lived all alone," setting the stage for the journey that unfolds.
Alice AbyssPublished about a year ago in GeeksMy Review of "Only Murders in the Building: Season One"
Only Murders in the Building: Season One was released in 2021. I know I'm a bit late to the show for this one but at least I actually get to realize how good this show is. This is a show that's been on my radar for quite a while because it was getting some good publicity. Unfortunately I wasn't really into murder mystery shows even though this was a comedy. That is until I saw Knives Out and its sequel Glass Onion. I had to check this one out right after.
Brian AnonymousPublished about a year ago in GeeksMy Review of "Crazy, Stupid, Love"
Crazy, Stupid, Love came out back in 2011. It's hard to think that it's already over a decade old. A lot has changed over a decade and with that social norms have also been modified. There are a few things in this movie that will trigger a lot of people. Those that aren't into those type of things can have a good time with it though.
Brian AnonymousPublished about a year ago in GeeksThe Menu
The Menu was truly one of my most anticipated films of 2022, and then we didn’t get to go see it in theaters. So though I was disappointed that I had to watch it on HBO Max I am glad that I finally got to see it. The trailer depicted what seemed to be a satire with the message of “eat the rich” a theme that made it a must watch for us. After watching the film, it was definitely a satire, just not truly the “eat the rich” kind, more like eat the overly intellectual. Which is part of the reason watching people on the internet analyze it to death is hilarious. There really wasn't that much to analyze and that's what I appreciated most about it, it was very straight forward.
