The Last of Us HBO Review

Guys, I recently came away from watching an American post-apocalyptic survival horror drama series called The Last of Us, which has been released on both Disney Plus and HBO Max.

This series has a total of 9 episodes, but only the first has been released; the remaining episodes will be released one by one every week, i.e., the second episode of this series will now be seen on Disney Plus Hotstar on January 23.

So my review is going to be based on the first episode of "The Last of Us."

The Last of Us HBO Hotstar

After a dangerous virus spread, the world became completely devastated, and many people converted into dangerous creatures. On the other side is Joel, who is surviving in this world and is also a smuggler.

His mission is to take a teenage girl named Ellie away to a special location while protecting her from all dangers.

So will Joel or Emily be able to survive this journey or not, and what kinds of dangers will they have to face to learn all this? You have to watch this series.

Now, let's talk about my experience with this series. First, I am a fan of the video game on which this series is based, and I have played both parts of that video game, so I am familiar with the world and characters of this series.

And even before this, I have seen many other shows based on video games, out of which I have found only two to be perfect adaptations of video games, one of which is Arcane and the other is Castlevania.

And now, this Last of Us appears to be the third perfect video game adaptation.

At least I felt the same way after watching episode 1.

Believe me, I am overjoyed. The first episode of this series was fantastic because the writers expertly recreated the look, feel, and post-apocalyptic settings of The Last of Us.

If you watch only half an hour of the beginning of episode one, then that half an hour is enough to grab your attention and develop so much interest in you that you will want to know more about the world and characters of this show.

And in the first half hour itself, you will start feeling the tension and the intensity very well and very beautifully. An urgency has been created in the story from the beginning to the end of episode one.

You will not feel bored anywhere while watching this show, and a very good action sequence is seen in the middle part of episode one, which you will definitely enjoy watching.

And then, after the end of episode one, I am sure you will not have to wait for the release of episode 2.

Joel's character is very good, and you may also like it. Seeing what will happen to Joel's daughter makes you feel sad for Joel. When Ellie is introduced and the conversation or interaction between Ellie and Joel occurs, it is also an enjoyable ride.

If the creators of this series succeed in presenting the relationship between Joel and Ellie exactly like a game, then no one can stop this series from being successful.

In addition, the series' music and production work are excellent.

Conclusion

In short, episode 1 is a great start to this series, and I am hoping that this series will not disappoint us even further. I will talk to you about my detailed review after the complete release of this series.

Right now, I just want to tell you that if you enjoy watching survival horror dramas or zombie genres, you will enjoy watching the first episode of this series, and yes, everyone can watch this series, regardless of whether they have played the video game or not.

And if you want, you can also watch its first episode with your family because nothing like sex, nudity, or kissing scenes are present, but adult languages are heard and there is little blood or violence.

So how did you guys like episode one of "The Last of Us?" Definitely mention it in the comments section.

I'll see you soon.

Thank you.
