Cassandra James makes Transgender history on "General Hospital'
Cassandra James made history 3 years ago when she was hired as Dr. Terry Randolph, a pediatric oncologist on GENERAL HOSPITAL. The character had been a close male friend of Elizabeth Weber when she was growing up and returned to her life as a woman. Terry has been accepted at the hospital and there have been no storylines relating to anti-LBGTQ indifference.
Cheryl E PrestonPublished 3 years ago in GeeksDaniel Radcliffe Saved Harry Potter
Like most fans of Harry Potter, I fell in love with the story of a boy who thrived against the odds. The seven-tome series is filled with unique characters who seem to speak up for those who can’t speak up for themselves. And then the author, She-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named, shared her transphobic views with us on Twitter in 2019, and my heart broke with disappointment.
Amber Heard Hasn’t Been Fired from Aquaman 2 and No one’s Happy About It
So initially I told myself I wasn’t going to write about this topic anymore because it felt like I was just screaming speaking into the void but you better believe that decision changed after learning yesterday that Aquaman 2 had begun filming and that Amber Heard would be in it.

Actress Diamond White has been portraying Paris Buckingham on the CBS soap THE BOLD AND THE BEAUTIFUL since November 2, 2020. On Friday night June 25, she sang a beautiful rendition of "The world's a better place because of you" during the 48th annual Daytime Emmy Awards. Cheryl E PrestonPublished 3 years ago in GeeksGinger Grant's various portrayers on ‘Gilligan’s Island’
GILLIGAN'S ISLAND ran on CBS from 1964-1967 and continues to be popular today in syndication. Right now you can also purchase episodes on various streaming services. Fans know that Tina Louise portrayed movie star Ginger Grant in all 98 episodes and is the only surviving member of the original cast of the show. Louise, however, was not the first nor the last actress in the role of the sexy movie star who was actually modeled after Marilyn Monroe. The character of Ginger was sultry and her voice was similar to Monroe's when she sang Happy Birthday to President John F Kennedy. Ginger's hairstyle and even her walk were inspired by that late sex symbol at the request of the powers that be.

Congratulations to THE BOLD AND THE BEAUTIFUL cast member Aaron D Spears for a job well done. The talented actor has received the SOAP HUB Performer of the Week Award for his portrayal of Justin Barber. Last week on the CBS soap Justin knocked out Thomas Forrester after he said there was evidence that Vinny committed suicide and was not murdered by Bill and Liam Spencer. Thoms wanted to free Liam and Bill from jail but Justin had other plans. Mr. Barber used the Forrester heir as a sounding board for years of pent up frustration.

Jide OkonjoPublished 3 years ago in Geeks'General Hospital' fans await confirmation of "blind item" and so do those who watch 'THE YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS'
The past two weeks have been filled with anticipation for soap fans who watch two of the four remaining daytime soaps. It was announced that a"blind" item indicated a popular actress was walking away from her role and at first it was said she was on GENERAL HOSPITAL. The rumor mill suggested Laura Wright and later Kelly Monaco but nothing was ever confirmed. The next teaser suggested it might be Michelle Stafford or Hunter King from THE YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS. Daytime drama fans are curious and want the truth but so far they are still waiting.
Cheryl E PrestonPublished 3 years ago in GeeksHunter King may be gone for good from THE YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS
Monday's episode of THE YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS has had viewers talking all weekend. Online the show for June 28 has been available since Friday evening the 25. Dealing only with this episode and no rumors or spoilers it certainly seems as if Summer Newman is leaving Genoa City. She made her rounds and said goodbye to a lot of people and no one objected as viewers thought they might. Summer gave Lauren short notice that she was taking the job in Milan and even recommended Sally Spectra for her own position.

Veteran actors Max Gail and Marla Adams warmed the hearts of soap viewers on their respective daytime dramas. Fans were so touched by their portrayals of living in the last stages of dementia that they began saying the two should win Emmys. On Friday night June 25 both were honored with the award for the Outstanding Performance by a supporting actor/actress in a supporting role. Gail, 78 was on hand to take the stage and accept his trophy while 82 year old Adams spoke to the audience via live stream. To say these two were outstanding is actually an understatement.

I have a guilty confession to make. I still occasionally listen to the music of Gary Glitter, and I still enjoy it. When I was a music-obsessed five year old, with her own little turntable and speakers, I commandeered my mother’s 45* of “Rock & Roll Part 1” (with its equally successful B-side “Rock & Roll Part 2”) and played it relentlessly.
