The Fox and Birdcage
When Asire was discovered, it was considered a gift from the Gods. Not only was it a glowing crystal that erupted from the ground in various places around the world after what scholars called The Awakening, but was otherwise known as the worse earthquake ever experienced by mankind before or since; it was found to be a power source of incalculable potential, and even after a century of experimentation it was still common for new limits to be found and then shattered by the wonderous rock structure. The technological revolution brought about a baby boom...and the first of those to claim it was a curse. It was discovered that exposure, and even in some cases simply close proximity, to Asire, causes what is either the spirits of the world escaping to the mortal realm through an unprotected babe or a result of the radiation given off by Asire when in use causing mutations in unborn children, depending on your source.

About TechPublished 4 years ago in FuturismUFOs I Have Seen
I've seen plenty of UFOs, starting when I was 12, and saw the Catalina lights, in a row one minute, stringing itself into a spinning circle the next, and disappearing since we were taking a cruise to Catalina, and Ensenada, Mexico. In Spain, I saw a UFO when I was in Muros, Galicia, at the beach sitting in the sun when I saw something in the sky that didn't look like a plane, but like a ship. The term "cargo ship" popped into my head, I sat there thinking, where did that come from. This was many years ago, when I was on vacation visiting cousins.
Iria Vasquez-PaezPublished 4 years ago in FuturismMafia Omega?
Hello i would like to tell you about my life and how it was twisted around by the power hungry. But in this world what gender is what rules it. You see this world there are 2 genders to every person. The ones who are always on top and have skill are the Alphas. Then those who are the normal are Beta’s they are the free to live their lives and do as they please. And then there’s the Omega’s the ones who have heats and are just good for making children, then being tossed away. Everyone has animal traits such as wolf ears and tails to even the wildest animals like the tigers. I absolutely hate and loathe these rules. My life was determined on a test done in elementary school. And yet just when i thought it would be fine nothing went right because of family. Family is everything right?
The Priestess and the Fool
The Priestess and The Fool A woman sat on a stump in the middle of the woods, with two young girls around her, seated in front of her on the ground as they had time and time again. It was mid-afternoon, with the sun high in the sky. It was just turning to fall, the leaves on the tall spruce trees changing colors. The sun hitting the leaves covered the ground in shadows, with enough light peeking through to keep the bottom of the forest lit .

Culture SlatePublished 4 years ago in FuturismDonald Glover Is Reportedly Coming Back To Star Wars As Lando Calrissian
When Solo: A Star Wars Story came out in the summer of 2018 to mixed critical and audience reviews, there was one aspect of it that nearly everyone agreed on: Donald Glover's performance as Lando Calrissian was the highlight of the movie. Some fans even said that he stole the spotlight from the main character, Han Solo. As expected, demand was high for Star Wars to incorporate Glover's Lando in future installments of the franchise. Around the time of Solo's release, rumors pointed to the possibility of a Lando spinoff, and though LucasFilm confirmed nothing, even Glover spurred on the speculation. As Solo was releasing in theaters, Glover showed great interest in a potential spin-off, and even pitched a feature film idea for Lando, painting the picture of a heist film similar to Spielberg's Catch Me If You Can.
Culture SlatePublished 4 years ago in FuturismThe Future of 3D Concrete Printing is Incredible
When 3D printing entered the limelight a few years ago, the technology community and members of the general population were enthralled by the possibilities. Just think of the implications it could have. If you were an entrepreneur and needed to create a one off part for a project you were working on, or needed to make a full prototype, you could just print one off instead of absorbing the high cost of manufacturing. Instead of buying trinkets for your child's stocking stuffers, you could just 3D print them something. If you needed a part that broke for your vacuum, maybe you could eventually just go to the manufacturers website print one at home, saving time, shipping, and material. But what about taking it beyond those small scale ideas and actually 3D printing your entire home. That is exactly what the pioneers of 3D concrete printing are doing now.
Environ-MENTAL
I did not realize until recently that there would be a day when civil rights, women’s rights or even my constitutional rights would take a back seat to my environmental rights. I mean Rosa Parks stood up when she sat down, but I do not believe she saw a day when a seat at the back of the bus would take a back seat to environmental survival and environmental injustice. I am here to report that as a victim of environmental injustice, I can quickly draw the parallels to violations of rights of any kind. It is very strange to wake up in the morning and ponder whether or not I am going to breathe today. It is even more strange and peculiar to see other people still acting and talking in a normal way that are not plagued with such a problem. I now count it strange when I do not have to think about breathing or think about the air that I am breathing. There is nothing so gruesome! Who can enjoy a day off from work when one is concerned about whether the environment in which one lives is safe and sound? Who can enjoy a walk with one’s dog or perhaps, just a walk, when one is concerned about the environment?
Brenda K. SandersPublished 4 years ago in FuturismThe Sun and Moon
In the beginning there were only two animals: a fox and a swan. The fox was named Kahli, his fur was not fur, but hot red flame, almost as hot as his temper. The spirits of the wind and earth hated his impatient nature and did all they could to stop him. Then there was Malkia, the swan, tranquil, delicate and a body made out of grey sandstone, it was hard not to love her. In fact, the spirits of earth and wind loved Malkia so much, they gave her anything she asked for.
