Problems
I sit on the swing in an old park that was all but forgotten by most kids. My eyes were glued to the stars that are shining beautifully on a moonless night. While their beauty wasn’t lost on me, I hardly registered it. My heart was pounding against my rib cage and butterflies danced in my stomach, a goofy smile resting on my face as I think of my reasons for being here. Well, reason, as in one, him. He is my reason, Zack. We’ve been friends for years but just started getting to know each other and talk with each other recently, and I couldn’t be happier.

The Sun and Moon
In the beginning there were only two animals: a fox and a swan. The fox was named Kahli, his fur was not fur, but hot red flame, almost as hot as his temper. The spirits of the wind and earth hated his impatient nature and did all they could to stop him. Then there was Malkia, the swan, tranquil, delicate and a body made out of grey sandstone, it was hard not to love her. In fact, the spirits of earth and wind loved Malkia so much, they gave her anything she asked for.

Good Witch
History is told by victors. It blurs facts to make them seem heroic and their enemy to be the villain when in reality they are just people doing what they think is best. The story I'm about to tell has been held close to my heart for many years. Something I wish I spoke up about long ago. About a good witch. A good witch named Samantha, she is one of these people I told you about, doing what she believed was best. She was thrust into a roll with no idea what it would mean for her. I suppose I should start from the start: a best friend and a night of fun.

Thinking
At the start it doesn’t really matter what you’re doing. You could be doing homework, reading, talking with friends, you could even be in the middle of a party. You can be so content and happy, laughing and smiling, you don’t suspect that anything can go wrong. Then you start to think and that’s how it really starts. You just start thinking, nothing specific, at first, just thinking. Now that you started thinking, you just can’t stop.
