The Best Marinaded Steak Tips with Rice Recipe
For A Delicious Dinner Or Lunch
My husband and I have come to love this dish after I've made it a few times ever since discovering the recipe for the marinade. For the longest time, we just grilled the steaks after letting them soak in it for an hour, but after I decided to give this way a shot, I've wanted to do this far more often. That being said I still love how the steaks taste after being grilled, but this way is perfect if it's too cold outside or if you don't have the other materials for using the grill.
Ingredients
1/4 cup balsamic vinegar
1/4 cup Worcestershire sauce
1/4 cup soy sauce
1/4 cup olive oil
1 Tbsp dijon mustard
2 tsp honey
3 garlic cloves, minced (1 Tbsp)
1 tsp freshly ground black pepper
1 tsp dried rosemary (optional)
4 (8 oz) steaks

Place all the ingredients out on the counter for a quick and easy flow. I also like to gather the measuring cups and rest them out in front of the different products so it's all there and ready to go.
Cut up the steaks however thick or thin you want and let them soak in the marinade for about an hour in the fridge. Serving it on rice has become my favorite way to enjoy this recipe besides just grilling steaks.
Be sure to start the rice cooker so it finishes about the same time that the meat will be done. If you are making green beans to go with it, go ahead and begin boiling them. I like to drop some butter in and a little salt for extra flavor for the beans.
Throw the steak tips in a skillet on high for about 5 - 10 minutes depending on how thick the steak tips you've cut are and the quantity you are cooking. I love to drop in slabs of butter here and there to help keep from burning the meat and marinade and to add more flavor. Keep stirring to make sure it all cooks evenly.
The mess afterward isn't too bad! I've seen some people request an image of that so they can see what they're getting themselves into!
A cutting board, knife, measuring cups, a large bowl, and a skillet is all that there will be to clean. If you're making rice and green beans of course there will be a pot and the rice cooker to clean as well, but compared to other dishes, it isn't a whole lot.
It smells amazing as it cooks and the taste is one to relish. My husband and I both love this recipe and so I make it fairly often now. Personally, I like to make extra so there is plenty for us to have leftovers for home and or work. Throw it in the microwave for a minute or so depending on the amount and it still tastes incredible.
It makes for an easy meal to have when in a rush and or to avoid spending money and time getting take-out from a restaurant. It may not be the healthiest, but it is better for you than most cheap fast-food meals.
