About Punjabi Style Hariyali Chicken

Punjabi style hariyali chicken is a popular dish from the Punjab region of India. It is made with a marinade of yogurt, garlic, ginger, chilli powder, coriander powder, garam masala, and salt. The marinade is then applied to the chicken and left to marinate for several hours before being cooked.

The dish is typically served with roti or naan bread, along with a side of fresh vegetables. It can also be served with a variety of accompaniments such as achari, raita, and chutney.

Punjabi style hariyali chicken has a long history in the region, with some recipes dating back to the 16th century. It is believed that the dish was created as a way to make use of the abundant ingredients found in the region. The dish is also popular in many other parts of India, and is often served as part of a larger feast.
