Literally boneless wings will have you saying,

“I cant believe this isn't boneless chicken”

Simply because, these boneless wings are 100% vegan and made with cauliflower instead of chicken, yes literally.

Cauliflower is such a versatile vegetable, its amazing what you can make with them. Some may believe that vegan food is boring rabbit food and is restrictive when in actuality, it leaves you to be more creative with so many options as your inspiration.

So far, these vegan boneless bbq and buffalo wings have been my go-to comfort food that pleases the hungry, non vegan and vegan crowd. If you haven’t tried cauliflower wings yet, you should really give them a try. They will blow your taste buds.

WHY THESE BONELESS BBQ AND BUFFALO WINGS SAVE THE DAY:

LESS EXPENSIVE THAN YOUR TRADITIONAL BONELESS CHICKEN WINGS

YOU RECEIVE MORE IN ONE SERVING. ONE HEAD OF CAULIFLOWER FOR CAN FEED A FAMILY OF 4

THEY'RE TENDER AND SOFT ON THE INSIDE AND CRISPY ON THE OUTSIDE. YOU WOULD HARDLY BE ABLE TO TELL THE DIFFERENCE EVEN IF YOU WERE EATING IT WITH YOUR EYES CLOSED.

THEY'RE HEALTHIER THAN TRADITIONAL CHICKEN WINGS WHILE ALSO BEING VERY FILLING.

NO ANIMALS WERE HARMED IN THE MAKING OF THIS MEAL

Not only is this a winner non chicken wing dinner, it doesn't require many ingredients or many steps. Its amazing how something so basic to create can taste like it was delivery.

WHAT YOU WILL NEED:

1 HEAD OF CAULIFLOWER

SPELT FLOUR FOR GLUTEN FREE CHICKPEA FLOUR

UNSWEETENED PLANT-BASED MILK (I USED ALMOND)

BBQ SAUCE YOUR CHOICE ( I USED G. HUGHES SUGAR FREE BBQ SWEET & SPICY BBQ SAUCE) OR BUFFALO SAUCE

PANKO BREADCRUMBS (GLUTEN FREE)

PINK HIMALAYAN SALT

PEPPER

CAYENNE PEPPER

GARLIC POWDER

THESE SEASONINGS ARE SEASON TO TASTE. So feel free to use your favorites.

HOW TO MAKE LITERALLY BONELESS WINGS

STEP 1: CUT THE CAULIFLOWER HEAD INTO BITE SIZED FLORETS

STEP 2: IN A LARGE BOWL, COMBINE THE FLOUR, PLANT-BASED MILK, SALT, PEPPER, SAGE, CAYENNE PEPPER, AND GARLIC POWDER. STIR FULLY TO CREATE BATTER.

STEP 3: STOP, DROP AND ROLL THE FLORETS INTO THE BATTER UNTIL THEY ARE COMPLETELY COATED

STEP 2:IN A LARGE BOWL, COMBINE THE FLOUR, PLANT BASED MILK, SALT, PEPPER, CAYENNE PEPPER, AND GARLIC POWDER. STIR FULLY TO CREATE BATTER

STEP 3: STOP DROP AND ROLL THE FLORETS INTO THE BATTER UNTIL THEY ARE COMPLETLY COATED.

STEP 4: TO GIVE THESE WINGS THEIR CRISPINESS, WE ARE NOW GOING TO ROLL THEM IN THE PANKO BREADCRUMBS.

STEP 5: LINE BAKING SHEET WITH FOIL AND PARCHMENT PAPER. I DID NOT HAVE ANY PARCHMENT PAPER DURING THIS TIME. THE PARCHMENT PAPER MAKES IT EASIER TO REMOVE THE WINGS AFTER BAKING.

TRY TO GIVE EACH WING THEIR OWN SPACE.

BAKE FOR 25MIN AT 350*F

STEP 6: AFTER BAKING, REMOVE THE WINGS AND TRANSFER THEM INTO A BOWL IN ORDER FOR YOU TO COAT THEM IN BBQ AND OR BUFFALO SAUCE.

MAKE SURE THEY'RE EVENLY COATED BY STIRRING THEM

STEP 7: PUT THE COATED WINGS BACK ON THE BAKING SHEET AND BAKE AGAIN FOR 20MIN AT 350*F

SERVE IMMEDIATELY WITH YOUR FAVORITE WING-MAN, SIDE-KICK OR EAT ON IT’S OWN.

THEY’RE SO YUMMY, YOU CANT HAVE JUST ONE!

YOU'LL BE STUCK BETWEEN, “I'M EXCITED TO SHARE WHAT I HAVE MADE” AND “THEY'RE SO GOOD I DON'T WANT TO SHARE”.

RECIPE NOTES:

FOR A CRISPIER WING, ROLL THE CAULIFLOWER IN THE PANKO BREADCRUMBS AFTER BEING ROLLED IN THE BATTER

SERVE THE WINGS IMMEDIATELY AFTER BAKING, THEY BECOME LESS CRISPY AS TIME PASSES AND THEY COOL DOWN.

IF STORED IN A CONTAINER, THEY WILL BECOME SOFT. TO GIVE THEM THEIR CRISPNESS YOU MAY PUT THEM IN THE OVEN FOR 10-15 MINUTES

THEY ALSO MAKE A GREAT BONELESS WING SANDWICH. INSTEAD OF CUTTING THE CAULIFLOWER INTO FLORETS, YOU WOULD CUT THEM INTO BIGGER CHUNKS THAT CAN LAY FLAT ON THE SERFACE.

YOU CAN EVEN GET MORE CREATIVE AND USE THEM TO MAKE WRAPS, PITAS, AND EVEN TACOS...YUM, YUM, YUM, DELICIOSO!
