Love, Laughs, And Lefse
What dessert do you associate with Christmas? For me that dessert is lefse. I grew up with it being a tradition to make it every year, and the tradition still continues. The lefse recipe has been passed down five generations. My Great Grandma taught my Grandma, who taught my Mom, who taught my siblings and I, who in turn have taught my nieces and nephews.

Mulled Wine and Christmas Cookies
Let me tell you the story of the first time I had mulled wine because it was quite magical... About an hour North of Rome there is a small mountainside town called Castel Gandolfo. The town consists of a mansion, where the Pope used to spend his vacations, a breathtaking view of a lake inlaid in the valley below, and a street of peach and pale yellow buildings resting on a ground of cobblestone. This is where the story begins. The air was cold and the sky was cloudy, and a slight drizzle began to fall. My classmates and I had come unprepared for the weather. Thankful as I was that I had at least decided to throw on a thin windbreaker, I wished I had also thought about throwing on a winter coat. We embarked on a guided tour. The history of the town was fascinating, and the view of the lake, with light-dotted mountains across the way, was stunning. But the cold was sinking in.

Tacos & Tequila?
Tequila and Tacos? Yes, please! It was a very chilly Monday night in Naples. Well, it was in the fifties, but we all know that is considered cool for South Florida. My Fiancee (Em) and I decided to venture out that night for a bite at a local taco spot, Tacos and Tequila Cantina. I should mention that we both come from Culinary backgrounds, and have been in the foodservice industry for over 30 years combined. So you can imagine that we can be slightly critical when it comes to going out to eat. So we set our expectations to a medium that evening and headed out the door.

Christmas Dinner Ideas
When the stockings have been filled then emptied and after Santa has made his appointed rounds families around the globe begin the preparations (or in some instances continue them) to prepare the family feast that is most often associated with Christmas Dinner. There are many traditions around the world though sadly far too few families have the opportunity to experience some of the rich traditions and delicious foods that mark the Christmas holidays in other corners of the globe, or even across each individual nation.

Perfect Pairing
When you think of the holidays, your mind automatically goes to gingerbread houses, candy cane hot cocoa, and popcorn-cranberry garlands. Christmas is my absolute favorite season for a lot of different reasons. I can tell you about the crystal clear memory I have of watching “How The Grinch Stole Christmas” so many times in a row, I could recite the whole movie verbatim. But that’s not the only reason I love Christmas! I think there is something so calming to see everything covered in a blanket of snow, with all the different types of Christmas lights twinkling, the faint whisper of car tires driving down the street, and White Christmas by The Drifters playing through my car. Don’t get me wrong, I love Bing Crosby’s version and the actual White Christmas movie, but you have to love the baritone/bass from The Drifters… it’s just something else. And just like Bing Crosby and Danny Kaye make a great duo, so does Wonderful Cake and milk.

Cookies That Makes Memories
There is nothing better than memories of Christmas with my family. We split Christmas dinner, and well Thanksgiving too, between my house and my aunt’s house. No matter what it was always an occasion that we could remember. There is a lot of different dishes that was part of the dinner but for me the big one was Cathedral Cookies. My mom only made them for Christmas, and sometimes for Thanksgiving.

There is no denying that the air fryer makes the most delicious chicken wings. When cooked right, they are super-crispy and comically too easy to prepare at home which makes it a perfect snack when you invite your friends and family over for a feast or casual hangout. These wings are novel in a way that they are made of frozen chicken so you don’t need to thaw the chicken before cooking. This is one of the most common reasons people buy air fryers and we have perfected our delicious recipe for the perfect air fryer buffalo chicken wings.
