The peanut butter cookie was invented in the 1910's, when George Washington Carver published a peanut cookbook titled, "How to Grow the Peanut and 105 Ways of Preparing it for Humanity Consumption," where he included several cookie recipes.

In 1923 Heinz became the first company to homogenize the peanuts into the spreadable butter.

Peanut butter has become a classic American food.

Peanut butter nutrition is a good source of vitamin E, B6, niacin, calcium, magnesium,potassium and iron, is packed with protein and is rich in healthy monounsaturated fat. Peanuts can be part of a heart healthy diet.

These cookies do not contain any flour that is why it's dense flavor is deliciously and crunchy. They're easy to make and you don't need too much ingredients.

All the ingredients used in these recipes are low carb products and sugar free. Here's a short summary of the products used in the recipe.

👩🏻‍🍳 Ingredients:

1/2 Cup Swerve Brown Sugar.

1/2 Cup Crazy Richard’s peanut butter.

1/4 Cup Lily's Unsweetened Chocolate.

1 tbs Baking Powder.

1/4 tbs Cinnamon.

1 Egg.

👩🏻‍🍳 Directions:

  • Preheat your oven 375F.
  • Mix all ingredients until thicker as a dough.
  • Scoop the batter onto your baking sheet, spacing the balls of dough roughly 2 inches apart.
  • Bake the cookies for 10- 15 minutes.
