  • 2 Tbsp Gram flour
  • 2 tbsp Rice Flour
  • 2 tbsp Refined flour
  • A pinch of Asafoetida
  • 1/2 tsp Carom Seeds
  • 1 tsp Ginger-garlic paste
  • 1/2 tsp Turmeric powder
  • 1 tsp Red chilli powder
  • 1/2 Lemon Juice
  • to taste Salt
  • Water
  • 500 gram Paneer
  • 1 tsp Dried Mango Powder

How to Make Amritsari Paneer Pakoda

  1. Take gram flour in a large bowl, and add rice flour, refined flour, asafoetida, carom seeds, ginger-garlic paste, turmeric powder, red chilli powder, lemon juice, salt, water to it. Mix it and keep it aside.
  2. Now, take paneer; add salt over it and mix it. Dip the paneer pieces in batter and deep fry them.
  3. Let it fry over a high flame and take it out on a plate, once it turns golden brown.

The pakoda is ready to serve! Garnish it with some dried mango powder.

  • 2 teaspoons Chaat Masala
  • 1 teaspoon Coriander Powder
  • 2 tablespoons Oil
  • Salt to taste
  • Water as required
  • Oil for deep frying

Instructions:

  1. In a large bowl, mix together the all-purpose flour, besan, ajwain, garam masala, red chili powder, chaat masala, coriander powder, oil, and salt.
  2. Add water slowly and mix to make a thick batter.
  3. Heat oil for deep frying in a kadhai or pan.
  4. Dip the paneer cubes in the batter and deep fry until golden brown.

Serve hot with green chutney or tomato ketchup.
