This Old Man Finally Saw His First Real Concert
Well, as the title suggests, this old man finally saw his first real concert after 35 years. Why do I say first real concert? I say this because, on November 21st, I finally got to go to a concert for a band that I love. That band is Alien Weaponry.

My first concert after lockdown
Thursday 13th February 2020: Before the first wave swept across the UK, I managed to fit a trip across to Manchester for a concert. I got to see Bowling for Soup for the 3rd time, supported by Simple Plan. It was a good gig, and getting back to Manchester after a year or so away was very enjoyable. My brother and I have been to numerous musical events, both as spectators and staff, and will be planning to go to many more in the future.

my first concert in my favorite city
This story isn't just about a concert. This is a story about destiny. Let me set the scene. Blaring music, sweaty bodies, screaming at the top of our lungs, hands and phones in the air. This was what my Thursday night consisted of as I experienced my first ever concert in New York City.

source It will be more and more difficult in the following years to host and organize a music festival with dozens of performing bands and thousands of participants but not impossible. SUMMER MADNESS XI
It's been approximately five days since battle raps Super Bowl happened, of course I'm referencing Ultimate Rap league's Summer Madness. It is the 11th year of the event. It went down this year in Houston, Texas, and thousands of fans showed up for the event. As a veteran spectator of battle rap, it felt good to see the fans back outside and in the element of the sport. Whether they were their for certain battles, certain battle rappers, first time spectators, or if they were their just to check it out, it was an amazing thing to see.

Gimme That Old Time Religion
Most of my friends are atheists, but some are more anti-religious than others. Sometimes can lead to amusing situations. Many years ago I invited my friend Tom to come and see the Alabama 3 for an acoustic gig at the small O2 , upstairs theatre in Newcastle. Tom is a vehement atheist , and prefers heavy metal and doomy rock so he wasn’t too sure why he had agreed to come to this gig with me , but he always keeps his word, and so after a couple of pints in Tilley’s Bar we went across the road to get to the gig.
