Why Every Word MattersTop Story - August 2023
Have you ever thought that writing is useless and perhaps even questioned its significance in the grand scheme of things? But as soon as the thought forms in your mind, you suddenly feel guilty, and this deep sense of shame washes over you. It's as though your heart protests, defending this ancient art. You feel horrible calling yourself a writer, as if you committed an unthinkable sin by thinking negatively about writing. The Price of a Dollar
Growing up, one of my favorite things to do was lie across my bed and read. Back then, I would often spend hours lost in the pages of my many books. From their pages, I read of ancient forests where magic was real and heroes vanquished ferocious monsters with mighty swords. I still love to read.
