Gangs of London - Game Review
Thanks in part to the British film industry gangsters, gangs and everybody generally associated with the underworld have been generated renewed interest over the past few years. Movies such as Lock Stock and Two Smoking Barrels, Layer Cake and Sexy Beast have raised the profile of this continually fascinating aspect of London life. It's by no means new though, tales of the East End and its less that friendly inhabitants have been in and out of the press since the notorious Kray twins and The Great Train Robbers.
Lego Batman Game Review
The Dark Knight and the Boy Wonder have been summoned once again to take on the forces of evil. Gotham City is home to some of the most insane and interesting villains -- all of whom have escaped from Arkham Asylum. Now it is up to the caped crusader to take on these threats or spend the night getting more Legos to rebuild the city. After the success of Lego Star Wars and Lego Indiana Jones, the Dutch toy maker has done it again by teaming up with DC comics to bring you Lego Batman on the PSP, Microsoft Windows, Nintendo DS, PlayStation 2, PlayStation 3, and other systems.
Game Review - Star Wars: The Force Unleashed
Star Wars: The Force Unleashed for the PSP was developed by the small but capable studio Krome, who also oversaw the Wii and PS2, ps3 ports of the game. Before tackling the Force Unleashed project, Krome was responsible for Hellboy: The Science of Evil. The PSP version contains all of the same plot points as the next-gen console versions, but the level design is completely different on the handheld, making it a more or less unique experience.
The Floating Matchstick
I'm from in Southampton, U.K. Many years ago, while I was a student nurse, I had an odd experience. One bright sunny morning a matchstick fell from my matchbox. As I went to pick it up, to my amazement it "jumped" several times before launching itself into the air. There it stayed, stationary, parallel to the floor and accompanied by "clicking" sounds (like static electricity). I guess it stayed there for around 6-8 seconds, about a foot away from my face.
Demon of Witch Hill
I live in a small town on the southwest coast of England. As far back as I can remember, the town's old people have talked about supernatural activity - the old lady who runs the general store, my grandparents, the fishermen - everyone over the age of about 50 or so. They've seen ghosts, werewolves and UFOs, but my parents and the other younger generations seem to be a bit more skeptical about it.
The 3rd Birthday PSP Review
he 3rd Birthday is a sequel of sorts to the Parasite Eve games, although this PSP exclusive takes the gameplay in completely new directions. Here, players take control of sexy heroine Aya Brea and guide her in the third person as she faces off against legions of enemies called the Twisted in the streets of New York. The emphasis here is on fast-paced action and more than a little bit of strategy, mainly revolving around Aya's ability to possess different soldiers on the battlefield. Despite its resemblance to other more banal shooters, some exciting new gameplay innovations keep this game from devolving into traditional 3rd person shooter fare.
First Kiss. . . a Kiss of Goodbye
First kiss... What's the big deal? Yes, it's first kiss and you've read it right. I suppose the majority of those who are reading this right now have experienced their first kiss? It is such a wonderful feeling to have those warm and sweet lips of someone you love close to yours. I never thought that at the age of 18, I'll be rewarded a kiss... from foreign lips! But wait... please don't judge me. Don't sentence me as if I am accused of a hideous crime or as if I am a patient of a lethal disease.

And the award goes to....?
Here's the background information. I work in a residence hall as a resident assistant. I assist the residents. However, this story isn't about the residents; it is about the staff that I worked with and cared so much about. Throughout the year we are trained to respect others, use appropriate and uplifting language, be cheery, pleasant, and helpful, and most importantly remain politically correct in all situations. Diversity training is essential. So it was to my surprise that I was awarded with the "Ratchet Residents of the Year Award" at the end of the year awards banquet.
Those Days Of Summer
It were days of summer. The Sun was bright and its light was spreading all over the street. Being a jobless in those summer days, I had nothing substantial to do. I was living in city all alone, surviving on money sent by my father from far away home. My room was near a Nullah in outskirt of city .
Don't love, but don't doubt
One day, I was in the phase of playing something, in doing all those activities which a child does. I had a sip of Whisky, quite bitter for me but I started taking it for all day long and almost on a 24X7 hrs basis. Soon a year passed and I cleared my secondary year exams, then I realized that the only work I can do is drinking. I continued with this habit till I crossed my Engineering exams. I was one of the most notorious students of my college. I used to bunk college and have whisky for the day long. To add to the glory, I also recall having beaten my teacher, my classmates, and my seniors. I was involved in all such activities in my college. I have more suspension letters than certificates, a student should have.
