The Water Hole
This is a horror story for the Vocal Foggy Waters challenge . I do not usually write fiction , but the challenges force me out of my comfort zone, and hopefully that makes me a better writer. The lead in music will be “Drowning” by the Beat. This story is influenced by the style of Franz Kafka where a person does not know why he is where he is.

Life Has Surface Noise
There have been a lot of not great things happening recently that I have been linked to in a remote fashion that have been traumatic for others. We want our life to be perfect , I certainly want mine to be perfect, but when someone or something you love is taken from you it is an almost impossible situation to deal with. All of a sudden the connection is broken and can’t be fixed.

Goodbye To All My Vocal Friends
Sorry for the clickbait heading , but thought it may catch someone’s eye. No I am not leaving you but I have a nasty demon that tells me when people don’t talk with me , the reason is that they find me boring , obnoxious, or just don’t even notice me. It tells me to leave the groups and completely remove myself from you , unfriend my closest and most loving and supportive contacts and effectively lead myself in limbo.

A Graveyard Smash
A Graveyard Smash , is taken from Bobby “Boris” Pickett and the Crypt Kickers 1962 Hit “Monster Mash” , more Abbott and Costello than Bela Lugosi. So here is mine, I hope there will be nothing too obvious in here , so this is unlikely to be a winner as no Halloween DJ will have heard of any of these artists (well maybe) , but the records , I am not sure.

Didn't Feel Lonely Til I Thought Of You
A poem based on the title of a favourite Kevin Ayers song "Didn't Feel Lonely Til I Thought Of You" , which I have included as the lead in music. You can have lots of contact and support and friendship, but you will always miss that special someone or something more than ever

So You're A Racist Now MikeyDred
So You're A Racist Now Mikey Dred is the title of this piece and came about when I was discussing toxic environments with Karin Venables , and I thought of the Father Ted episode where Ted Crilley is being a little racist (it was the point of the episode) which appeared in "Are You Right There Father Ted?" , the first episode of the third series , and also the first episode that was screened after Dermot Morgan died.

Workingmen's Dead
A lot of people have heard of the Grateful Dead , but know nothing of the band and know nothing of their songs. There are also a lot of people who have never heard of the band at all, which give the sheer size of their following , the Dead Heads, is at least a bit of a mystery.
