Mikeydred's End Of 2022 Poetry Challenge
Introduction In the past, I have set up poetry challenges to stimulate my and others' creativity and thought I would first do this challenge as an article. As I will post this in the Vocal Poetry Community I probably don't have to write six hundred words, but I will do it for this article and include some poems from previous challenges I set as well as my poem listing my favourite Vocal Groups.

The Cleaner: A Wonderful Autism-Focused Christmas Special
Introduction When I was in hospital for my first cancer operation (which you can read about here if you a so inclined) I downloaded the first series of "The Cleaner" by Greg Davies because I had seen some more than decent reviews.

Some Dawn Singles You Will Love, I Certainly Do
Introduction As you know I have a big CD collection and I sell a lot on Discogs (my store only sells CDs and is below). I often take CDs out of my sale pile to make sure they play OK. I always visually check them but sometimes even perfect-looking CDs don’t play properly.

Growing Old is Mandatory but Growing Up is Optional
Introduction My Seven Days In Blog readings (or probably robot visits) fluctuate wildly and articles are picked up from way back that I believe are actually quite interesting, and think my Vocal audience may also enjoy dipping into.

C.H.R.I.S.T.M.A.S.
This is a free-form acrostic poem, which is really a list of a few things to do in the true spirit of Christmas. The music is “Happy Christmas War Is Over” by John Lennon and Yoko Ono, and I truly wish that all wars were over. Think what sort of world we could build if money was spent to build rather than destroy.

Butterfly On A Wheel
This is my thirty-sixth dark poem in the series inspired by Dharrsheena. It is a butterfly cinquain, and is only dark in concept, observing how beauty is destroyed often for the fleeting convenience of perpetrators. We see so many situations where a talent or a figure is effectively killed to preserve it at a moment in time as nothing more than an ornament, often forgotten by the ones who put it there.

2012 - 2017 - 2022
Introduction These are observations on getting older at New Year from my blog Seven Days In so it is textual recycling rather than plagiarism. I have reduced my Million Steps every three months to a million steps every four months and things have changed in the last five years, but as these posts show me, a lot of my thoughts are still the same.

And I’m Feeling Good
Introduction It's a new dawn It's a new day It's a new life For me And I'm feeling good I’m not sure that you are supposed to ever start a sentence with the coordinating conjunction “and” but what the hell, it’s me who is writing and you all know how incompetent I am with language.
