Calling
I was unable to think or see straight as my tail flew up and down effortlessly in the water. As if someone else was moving my body, and taking control of my limbs. I could not stop myself as a musical sound pulled me towards it like a lost sheep in need of a shepherd. The music was of something I've never heard, it was soothing to the ears, but would sound as if sharp to the touch. The urge to discover more about this bizarre noise was too powerful to ignore.

I Live in a Monster
The mirror showed a reflection that wasn't my own. I know the other “me” well enough now to control him, but it wasn’t always like that. I couldn’t bare to think about all the people in my life that I cared so much about. Their own death caused by another man, but with my own hands. I could still feel the blood dripping down my face, the blood that didn’t belong to me. I could taste it, my other self licking it with satisfaction. I look in the mirror to see the disgusting monster living in my body. To see the horrid beast waiting to come out and devour a helpless victim. Every day I am cursed, my stomach in knots, my aching muscles straining to keep this demon inside of me.

Crimson Eyes
I could see his eyes across the horizon, yet was I imagining this man here? He seemed to have emerged from the sea, his gaze calling out to me, beckoning me over. But what was I to do? He almost appeared as a ghost, and he seemingly floated on the water towards the golden sand shore. What did he want? Why did he seem so different? My brain spun with all these questions, causing my head to feel heavy and wanting to fall off.

Pepper
I remember the moment as clear as day, it was a sunny afternoon, the sun burning the pavement on the beaming white sidewalks. The dazzling blue overtaking the skies, shoving away any unwelcomed clouds that wander about, getting from one place to another. The cars aggressively speeding past others, some small and dainty in shape and color, others big and loud trying to overpower the streets, and a few were lean and fast, bright in magnificent, stunning, rare, extraordinary colors, trying to make a statement. The roads were overrun by people, the traffic was heavier then normal.

A Girl Named Ashley
The white crescent moon in the unreachable distance fell over the mountains, inches at a time, as if scared to touch them. The blackness that hugged the planet, and the stars that flashed golden ever so slightly, faded as the night said it's goodbyes. The darkness lifted a bit, a faint ray of the shy sun peaked it's way through the scattered clouds in the east. All the nocturnal critters were heading to their beds to get cozy, readying for tomorrow. The noise that cloaked the darkness seemed to cautiously quiet down, until there was nearly silence that was entrapped in the earth.

How I wish to fly SoundlessTop Story - January 2022
The darkness took hold of the walls, the ceilings, the motionless air lingering in front of my eyes. The blankets cuddled close to me, protecting me from whatever dangers lurked in the black room, whatever waits for my demise. The thought of a beast lashing out at my face any moment sent cold shivers down my spine. The feeling did not last long though, one moment my eyes were dashing across the empty space looking for any traces of a monster. Then in what felt like the blink of an eye, I was somewhere new.

A Mindless Soldier
I told him not to go, but he was determined to ruin my life. He was determined to ruin our joy, and peacefulness that surrounded our minds. I was not there when it happened, but it was as if I was. The whole story laid out in front of my eyes, I tried to shield it from them but my brain carved out a path for me to maneuver through.

If I Had A DragonTop Story - December 2021
When I was little I would look at the world differently then most. It was as if my eyes were playing tricks on me throughout my childhood. Growing up I lived in the city: tall buildings that put my house to shame, and the smog that filled up thousands of peoples burning lungs. Oh the people, the streets were overrun by people, getting from here to there, shoving others out of the way for whatever nonsense they were late too. That is why my brain seemed to resort to the imagination, to the thoughts and ideas that were pulled from me. Things that even I could not even fathom.

The Spotlight Boy
A small glossy white speck of frozen water swayed gracefully back and forth until it gently kissed the delicate snow on the forest ground. A wolf far off in the distanced whined to the moon, as it did every night, as if waiting for an answer. A snowy owl twisted its head around trying to pick up a whisper from a mouse below in the subnivean zone; where all the mice scurried about during the bitter cold season. A repeated crunching in the snow was then heard drawing ever closer to the scene. All the animals turning their ears to a new sound that was making it's way to them. And from the shadows came a young boy in winter boots, he was carrying a dismal frown and gloomy green eyes that focused on the snow crunching under his feet. The furry hood of his coat sagged down off his head, revealing shaggy, dirty blonde hair. His snow clothes engulfed his body, but it did not make him feel suffocated. He rather enjoyed the warmth hidden away from the piercing chills outside. But the most noticeable thing about him, were the ice skates gripped firmly in his hands.
