20/20 Vision: January 2020's Full Moon Lunar Eclipse in Cancer
What is a Lunar Eclipse? A Lunar Eclipse happens when the Earth stands between the Moon and the Sun, blocking off sunlight from the Moon. Since the Moon has no light of its own, a Lunar Eclipse will look to us as if the Moon has disappeared. While a Solar Eclipse coincides with the New Moon, a Lunar Eclipse always coincides with the Full Moon.

Happy New Year: December 2019's New Moon Solar Eclipse
On December 26th, 2019, there was a New Moon Solar Eclipse at about 4'06 degrees Capricorn. Because this Eclipse is so close to both New Years Eve and the Winter Solstice, I think it's energy is a good preview for the themes of the year ahead.

The Astrology of the 2020 Elections: Julian Castro
Introduction In 2016, I saw that the astrological community was very divided on who was going to win the presidential elections, but I noticed that these astrologers had one thing in common: their predictions were driven more by bias than astrology. Hilary Clinton supporters were predicting her win, while Trump supporters predicted his win. Not once did I see a Democrat predict Trump's victory nor did a Republican predict Clinton's. For someone actually wanting to study astrology, it was very disappointing.

I Love You but I Hate You: December 2019's Full Moon in Gemini
On Thursday, December 12th, 2019, at approximately 12:12 AM EST (or in other words, just a little after midnight on the night of Wednesday, December 11th), we will have a Full Moon at 19'51 degrees Gemini, sign of the twins. Those of you who are into numerology might think it should be significant that we should have a Full Moon at 12:12 on 12/12. This Full Moon is an especially major one because it's the last of the year, before the Solar Eclipse on December 26th. Here's what to expect.

Astrology of the 2020 Elections: Pete Buttigieg

Ghosted: What to Expect When Mercury Goes Retrograde in Scorpio This Halloween
On Tuesday, October 31st, at roughly 2:11 PM EST, Mercury will station retrograde at 27'38 degrees Scorpio. Halloween is said to be the night when the veil between worlds is the thinnest. The veil is also pretty thin during Mercury in Retrograde periods, three weeks of strange coincidences and synchronicities. What can we expect then, when Mercury goes Retrograde in Scorpio this Halloween?
