The Saturn-Uranus Square and the Astrology of the Texas Blackouts
A Prediction of Mine Came True... Sort Of On New Years Day, a post I had written on Facebook went viral. This post detailed my predictions for 2021 above a meme that seemed to imply it was going to be as disastrous as 2020 was. For the most part, I disagreed with this notion. I had been dreading the astrology of 2020 for years and I have valid reasons to think 2021 will be better all around.

"But I Don't Feel Like A Libra!"
My Introduction to Astrology My first encounter with astrology was from a coffee-stained newspaper on the corner of my grandparents' kitchen table. The article it contained struck a chord with me, but not a beautiful harp chord, more like a screeching violin chord. According to the "Horoscope of the Day," being born in October meant that I was "charming, dishonest and gullible." Charming? I wish. I had no friends and got bullied everyday by a bunch of ugly boys who would try to trip me in the halls of our elementary school. Dishonest? No way. My pious-like inability to lie was probably the reason for my social awkwardness. Gullible? Ok, maybe that one is true but I didn't want to be. I was terrified of being manipulated. If only I was born a couple days later, then I would be a Scorpio like my sister, a sign which the newspaper described as "powerful, magnetic and strong." It's true too: despite being two years younger than me, my sister excelled at the sports I sucked at and seemed to make friends with ease.

Geek Love: Virgo & Aquarius Synastry Compatibility
Introduction I started this synastry compatibility series with an article on Aries & Taurus, followed by an article on Aries & Gemini, thinking that I was going to write each article in zodiacal order. But then I thought, wouldn't it be more fun if I mixed it up? Why should Aries get everything first? So, I asked my readers which signs they wanted to read about and Virgo & Aquarius were one of my first requests. So here, it is!

The Game of Love: Aries & Gemini Synastry Compatibility
Introduction I am starting this series on compatibility between signs because I know it's a subject many people are interested in, but as I wrote in my other article about the synastry between Aries & Taurus placements, astrological compatibility is a tricky subject and there are a couple things I'd like you to keep in mind before you continue reading:

Stubborn Hearts: Aries & Taurus Synastry Compatibility
Introduction I am starting this series about relationship compatibility between the signs because I know it's a topic that a lot of people are interested, and I admit that as a Libra, relationships are one of my favorite topics as well! I'm not only interested in romantic relationships but why is it that we gravitate towards certain personalities and clash so hard with others? Astrological compatibility is a tricky subject, however, and because of that, I'd like you to keep a few things in mind as you read this article:

The Planets & Their Mythology: The Moon
What is the Moon? The Moon is the Earth's only satellite, orbiting around the Earth every 27 days, while the Earth orbits the Sun. In astrology, it is considered one of the two "luminaries," as it is appears to be the biggest and brightest object in the night sky. However, it does not shine on it's own. It simply reflects off light from the Sun. This gives the Moon a "passive," or receptive nature in contrast to the Sun's more "active" one. While the Sun represents the conscious or outer self, the Moon represents the inner emotional self or the subconscious. This makes sense, as the Moon can be more or less only be seen at night, carrying an association with things that are dark or hidden from view. Furthermore, Moon's actual appearance is grey, rocky and covered with craters from impact, which attests to it's "fragile" and sensitive nature (yet in other ways strong and capable of endurance).

A New Normal: How Saturn in Aquarius Will Affect Your Sign
On December 17th, 2020, Saturn entered the sign of Aquarius. It had briefly entered the sign of Aquarius on March 21st, 2020 when the coronavirus lockdown was at it's peak. This may have given us a taste of what was to come before Saturn went Retrograde back into Capricorn on July 1st.
