Nigeria is 60!
As annoying and frustrating as this country gets a lot of time, it is still my country and I genuinely have nothing but love and gratitude for this country. It still has a long way to go, but I am hopeful and hopefully this new year brings about bigger and better things for Nigeria.
2020 had other plans.
The perfect wedding is one of those things that a lot of people all over the world pray and eagerly wait for. Last year and the beginning of this year, wedding proposals were flying left and right. People wanted to lock it down. But what people didn’t know then was that 2020 had other plans and one major wrench that was going to be thrown into their year’s plans was the novel Coronavirus.

Over the past couple of months, Nigerians all over the nation have been engrossed by the Big Brother Naija phenomenon which came to an end on Sunday crowning contestant Laycon as the winner.

There’s nothing quite like the joys of motherhood, at least so I have been told. Earlier this year, singer Simi was blessed with the opportunity to partake in that joy, and even before the actual baby girl, Adejare came out of her, she already felt the joy from within.
