Who Says
It appears as though some may have utilized information regarding spirituality, growth, self-development, etc. as a means to put others down. Mostly, it appears as though there are attempts to correct the beliefs or actions of others on the premise that the one doing the correcting "knows better". The messages being delivered seem to be tailored to appear non-judgemental. At other times the overall essence of these messages seem to be saying "not that but this". While these messages don't appear to have any negative sentiment behind them, the intent behind it all is still there. Not one of us here is in the position to correct another individual. We cannot assume to know anyone's intent or motive (just as I may be doing now). Half of the time most individuals on this planet don't have a clue as to why they do the things that they do.

Freedom to Choose
Who desires a loss of freedom? I don't. Yet, there may have been many ways in which freedom is handed over to external events, internal events, or to others. Your freedom to choose is the key to your state of being. It is your power to choose how both internal and external events affect you. This is not to say that those events are unimportant and should be avoided at all costs. I am only stating that you have the power to choose which events you give your attention to and how you let them affect you.

A Rekindled Flame
When I was younger, I wanted to be a businessman. I had no idea what that meant or how I would get there. But, I knew I wanted it… Whatever IT was. I remember being asked “what kind of car do you want to drive when you’re older”. With a smug look on my face I said “I don’t want to drive. I want to be driven.” The sound of a “wow” being uttered was enough to tell that I was serious. But I was also 10. What did I know? With that much life experience, I was lucky if I knew how to cross the street. Little did I know, I would soon embark on a journey in finding that out.

Judgements
The title of this article may seem confusing, so allow me the opportunity to shed a little light on perception. Things aren’t always what they seem to be. One observation made in any possible moment has the ability to be negated. For instance, a person holding a teacup poodle may be observed, perceived, or judged in any manner and sed “observations” may be true in one moment. However, in another moment they may no longer hold “true”. This has held “true” with various observations in the world. One moment something is held as a “fact” or widely held belief and in the next, its collapsed into nothingness. Often, new information presents itself that alter or completely change the previously held belief. Hence, the term “Ghost” used in the title. Life is constantly changing, and what appears solid can easily fade into incorporeality. That’s just the nature of.... Nature.

Introduction to a Journey
The Past few years have been one Hell of a joyride. There's been so many twists and turns that knowing where I came from, where I'm headed, or how far I've come has been damn near impossible to figure out. Every time I've created even the slightest semblance of a plan, Life throws that map out the window. But the future isn't a destination anyway, and as for the past?.... Maybe we cant really develop hindsight without enough Life Experience. Maybe hindsight IS Experience AND the Lesson all wrapped within a Beautifully Paradoxical Gift- The Present!

Mindfulness
If there is one thing that I’ve learned through the years, it’s that the mind can be a powerful tool to help guide us and make sense of the world around us. It can help us create works of art, it can help us with various skills and talents, and it can even help us overcome challenges. However, despite the amount of good the mind can do, it can also do a lot of harm. While the mind has indirectly attributed to suffering in the world through creations and actions that have caused physical harm, it can also directly cause suffering to the individual it belongs to. This is usually brought about through ruminating on things that may cause fear, anger, or sadness.
