Ashland declares war on Victoria A preview for the week of July 4 on The Young and the Restless shows Victoria Newman ( Amelia Heinle) telling Nikki Newman ( Melody Thomas Scott) that Ashland Locke ( Robert Newman) is gone but she is wrong. In the very next clip, Ashland says that “his wife” will be his next target. Locke scammed the Newmans and Victoria got revenge but now her ex has refused to concede and has declared war.

Leslie Charleson may retire soon from General Hospital
Leslie Charleson may be walking away from General Hospital General Hospital fans have been wondering where Leslie Charleson is and if and when she will return to her beloved character. On Tuesday, March 15, it was reported that the 77-year-old soap vet was unavailable for taping, and actress Holly Kaplan portrayed Monica Quartermaine for one episode. Since that time Charleson has not returned and her character has only been mentioned once or twice.

Diamond White is the latest soap actress to address online haters
Online haters strike again Diamond White portrays Paris Buckingham on the CBS soap The Bold and the Beautiful. Her character has come under fire for taking screen time from longtime vets of the series and also for dating Carter Walton (Lawrence Saint-Victor) . Now the actress herself is addressing fans who have badmouthed her online because they don’t like her looks. White is not alone in this as three General Hospital cast members have been the victims of online hate and each has addressed the issue several times.

Hogan's Heroes: It was always winter with snow on the ground
Let it snow I was seven years old when Hogan’s Heroes debuted on CBS in 1965 and I obviously did not pay attention to detail because there was snow in every episode. I saw it but never thought about it until recently when I read an online trivia article. If you were like me you may have watched this series during the original run when you were young and now have become fascinated with previously unknown facts that are available on the web.

Susan Batten returns to daytime Soap Opera Digest is reporting that soap opera veteran Susan Batten will make a return to daytime and appear on ABC's General Hospital the week of June 27 through July 1. The date of June is 30th being specifically mentioned. Daytime viewers may recall the actress portrayed Luna Moody on One Life to Live from 1991-95 and returned multiple times as a ghost in subsequent years. Luna believed in the supernatural, crystals, and auras and she died after being shot in the stomach during a gang war.

Guess who’s back in Genoa City? Monday’s episode of The Young and the Restless left no doubt about the true nature of the resident bad girl in Genoa City. Jacob Abbott (Peter Bergman) made it absolutely clear to Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) that they are done with no chance for reconciliation. Head writer Josh Griffith promised to bring back the old Phyllis and although it’s taken a few years here she is. The conniving, blame others, manipulative, take matters into her own hands at any cost Phyliss is front and center and Jack has recognized her and called her out at last.

Chelsea’s dilemma continues The Young and the Restless writers still cannot seem to figure out what to do with Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) now that she is back in Genoa City. The powers that be continue to place this character in situations that cause spoilers to predict wild speculation that does not materialize. Since the actress returned from maternity leave a number of scenarios have been presented about her alter ego but none of them have worked out.

Steve Burton update: Dispelling the rumors
Burton is not on his way back to General Hospital Steve Burton was fired from his role as Jason Morgan on General Hospital in October 2021 because he refused to get the COVID vaccine. The actor had been on the series for over 3 decades. He has said he is open to returning to the ABC soap and fans continue to hope this comes to pass. Rumors began spreading that Burton was headed back to Port Charles but that won’t happen unless one of two things takes place.
