Time to Remove the Webs From Your Life
As she ran along the path, she knew that it was hopeless, a fool’s errand but she had to try. Today was one of those rare days in which attendance was mandatory. If she left it to Sylvie then she may as well pack her bags and go home. This was life or death and she could not be late again.

The Snuggled Dinosaur
Looking all around, all Johnny could see was destruction. Lives lost needlessly in the most painful of circumstances. Body parts littered what looked like every square inch of the courtyard, but why had he been spared? He was a lowly navigator with no real value to his name.

It’s the fur that gets me. I know that they are meant to be our superiors but do they have to be so furry? Spending every day of my life following them around with a broom, collecting hair, it’s monotonous but I should count myself lucky, at least I am not on shovelling duty.

The Unknown Fire
Dear Mum, This is a confession from your son. Twenty years later I feel the need to get this off of my chest and it is not simply due to the fact that these words if chosen, can offer me a monetary sum in return. Before I reached University, dancing was relegated to films and TV series, watching the Carlton shuffle or Tom Cruise effortlessly perform a classic dance to impress a woman. I was a voyeur when it came to the art and was very happy about that. Then came University and most recently, my wedding.

A Celebration of Writing
We love to celebrate special events in life. Key birth dates, achievements and historical events. We are almost obsessed with looking back and patting ourselves on the back. We want to embrace the concept of life in order to ensure that we walk away feeling as though we have achieved something. I do at least.
