The Cost of Living Increase Will Cause People to Abandon Their Pets
Prices have increased. Taxes have risen and the number of families who have fallen below the poverty line has grown. Make no mistake about it, we are living through a time of crisis. A time in history where, rather than work together to build a better tomorrow, we have war and destruction in Ukraine, with ordinary citizens being caught in the middle.

Easter is a Family AffairTop Story - April 2022
At the time of publishing, Easter is just over two weeks away (the approval process for Vocal can take longer than expected). It is a time that is synonymous with religion, chocolate and for me, family. It is a bank holiday weekend in the United Kingdom and I am looking forward to having a long weekend away from work (between the 13th and 18th of April).

The Power of a Smile
The world is tough. It was tough pre-pandemic and it is even tougher today, with the pandemic continuing to raise and the war in Ukraine. It is a blank slate of possibility that is surrounded by judgement, ridicule and misunderstanding. It is a challenge at the best of times and a torturous state at the worst of times. It is the only home that we will ever know and despite that, we can be seen to mistreat our surroundings.

Are you Raising your Parents?
I love my Mum. She raised me against a sea of challenges growing up. From my father choosing to walk out on us before I could walk to hiding food to ensure that I was able to eat. My Mum is an inspiration alongside many other Mums around the world but that does not stop me from wondering if I am raising her?

Games Should Grow With the Audience
Youth is easy. We spend our lives on the quest to be happy, yet the journey of life is exciting. The thought of Kratos becoming a parent, or in later years, Grandparent is one that doesn’t initially appeal, much like life. If you had the choice of whether to age or not, you would choose to stay young. I would.

You Cannot Buy Love
Love is a feeling. Often times you cannot touch or smell it (unless you count sex and the associated smells), but you know it's there. It provides comfort to you when the world seems hopeless and offers you the promise of a better tomorrow when alone all you can think of is the emptiness around you. The false promises and failed catch-ups, the collapse of politics and the loss of sense, love is the force that drives us forward to a better tomorrow.

The 20s need to offer us a refund
At this point in time, the world is wondering what is next? We have lived through two years of uncertainty, only to turn the corner into an unprovoked invasion of Ukraine...something that could very easily spiral out of control into a Nuclear War.

Fresh Start February
A fresh start is subjective. It will mean something different to each and every person reading this entry. Some will use it as a chance to shift some pounds, whilst others will see it as an opportunity to save money. For me, it is the opportunity to take a look at my writing, to analyse the last year, what has gone well and what has not.
