My first photograph on my River Lagan Walks part sixteen is of a beautiful Wood Pigeon coming down to the River Lagan for a drink.

Another few River Lagan Walks to get me out of my prison of self-isolation due to being on a Red Flag List, due to recurring chest infections since I cracked a few ribs in November 2019.

Once more I reveal the new life on and around the River Lagan in Belfast, Northern Ireland, which in this case is another Mallard Duck Family, with this Mallard Hen having six little Ducklings, who as you can see are exploring this part of the River Lagan.

The first Butterfly of 2021 sitting on the River Lagan towpath in all its striking beauty and colours. Butterflies are also the sign of new beginnings, which is why I put the photograph of this one at the start of this part twelve of my River Lagan Walks.

All of Mother Nature is amazing, regardless of which season you walk out in her. I mean look at the beautiful Rhododendron bush I have captured on the River Lagan Towpath heading towards Lagan Meadows.

My River Lagan Walks began in October 2020 due to a kind neighbour Noel suggesting I come out for short walks with him and the Dogs, Monty and Maddie.

I was only out of the car on this evening out and I was confronted with this beautiful young Grey Heron standing tall on one leg at the end of this rotten branch overhanging the River Lagan.
