Get to know Ang
Tell us about you: Ang, and I am from Rhode Island, the smallest state on the map. Music is my escape from reality, during my darkest moments in life I would cope with It by putting on a song or an album of my liking and sit there and completely disconnect from all the negativity and grief I was going through during those times. Music fully took me out of that and got me through it. Happy or sad music has always played a big role in my life. Without music, I don’t know where I would be today.

Get to know Jay Lifted
JayLifted born in Queens New York, raised on the north side of Chicago. The Belizean American rapper delivers a versatile style of music. From his catchy cadences & melodies to his bars that stick with you. I’ve had a passion for music my entire life, ever since I was a kid. I always had notebooks filled with lyrics and ideas. From before I even stepped in a booth and recorded anything. The passion was always there for me. I think what makes me different as an artist is my story and where I come from. My family comes from Belize, which could easily be a third world country to many. The things my family has had to overcome for me to even be in the position to work as hard as I do, and even create music for others has been a blessing. Those simple things are what drive me to work the way I do. As well as spark my love for music. To express myself and create in a space where there is no right or wrong. It’s really a feeling I can’t even describe it. Where do I see myself in five years? I’d say I see myself staying fully independent, and in a position where I can continue to give my fans music consistently. As well as showing people that it is ok to be an independent artist and build a brand. I’d also like to keep on checking things off the bucket list musically speaking. Last year I was able to receive my first plaque for my single “Build It Up.” That was my first record to reach over a million streams. I feel like my catalogue should continue to generate numbers like that. I’ve been doing this going on almost ten years now. I feel like I’ve seen it all, I feel like my discography speaks for itself. What I bring to the music world is authenticity, we live in a time where everything is fabricated. People don’t get to show you the hard work and time it takes to accomplish things. Nothing comes overnight, and that’s ok. Its ok to fail at something and keep trying till you get to where you need to be. I’ve been to every record label I admired growing up. I’ve sat in meetings that could have changed my life and have those not go my way. Those things made me better, it made my music better, it made me work harder and remain solid. Be kind to others and be a good human being its really that simple as cliché as it might sound. I’m a firm believer in work hard and get what you deserve, the music industry is a tough place to be at times. Put the work in and stay down, that’s what I want to be remembered by. As far as things I’d like to continue to do outside of music, is grow my business. I own a Belizean restaurant in my hometown of Waukegan IL. (Tase Of Belize) we’ve been there for years now. With recipes that have been passed down from my mother & Grandmother. I take pride in being able to give my community a taste of what I grew up with. The comfort food and culture needs that recognition it truly does deserve. My grandmother used to own a little restaurant back in Belize. Which started out as a small cart selling food, to a small shack, to a full dine in restaurant. I’d love to introduce the world to these kinds of stories and traditions I come from.

Meet YVG
Tell us about you: My stage name is YVG, which stands for Yair Valentini Galicia … those are my initials. I’m an upcoming artist from Waukegan IL who's looking forward to making a mark on the music industry! There’s not much opportunity with music here because there are no big stars making music or performing at large concerts all over the world as we see them now on television every night at midnight! But that is where I get my inspiration from! I love to watch these artists perform live and I love hearing their songs on the radio! My goal is to be known for being unique in every aspect of my music career! I feel like I am a lot more than just a hip-hop artist. I feel like I am a voice for the youth, and I want them to know that they can do anything they put their mind to. Being a teenager myself, it is hard to find yourself in this world. Everyone is telling you what to do, how to act, and what your future holds. For me, music was my escape from all the negativity of high school. It was my way of escaping reality and finding peace in my little world. My goals are to have fun with my family, and travel. I'm looking to create an atmosphere of excitement and joy through my music, connecting people from around the world in a shared experience that celebrates life and love. Through performances in my hometown and abroad, social media interaction, and live video broadcasts, I want to ensure that everyone leaves feeling uplifted and closer than they were before they arrived. Additionally, being with my family and taking time away to explore new cultures is just as important as hitting the stage: it's the chance for me to refuel creatively and personally so that I may keep bringing those memorable moments to all who listen.

Get to know LulDaki aka Glocksantana
Tell us about you: My name is LulDaki aka Glocksantana or Glocky for short. Im from the metro atlanta, more so i grew up here but i was born in zone 3 on Cleveland avenue. Honestly being from Atlanta, growing up here my whole life was spectacular to say the least. You see a lot the normal crowd wouldn’t see, you see even more then the not normal crowd sees. You see a lot of gang shit and drug abuse and what not and its just meant to be normal but to a younger kid you know thats just not what I was supposed to see. In a sense that shaped my character and who i am today. All the trauma and shit which led to me smoking a shit ton of weed. Weed is really eye opening in a sense, you see a lot of which you didn’t want to see or just couldn’t see before. Its amazing and you honestly just gotta feel it for yourself. Now why do i love music? Its many reasons not just one specific reason as for why music is just IT for me. Music is a god given delicacy to your ears literally. You can be sad and music will cheer you up. You can happy and music will amplify that. You can even be mad and music will literally make you enraged. But for me, music showed me some things about myself. Music helped me at my lowest when I would get my heart broke and shit by these females music would be there for me. It was nothing like a edible or a blunt and some City Morgue or Almeda or Young Thug to go with that music. My favorite genre would have to be between trap and rock music it just sounds so good to my ears. I take music serious in 2 ways. the first being my own music and the second being music i choose to listen to. For one, I take quality time mixing and mastering my songs that I make. Like I can’t just put stuff out there for my fans to hear if it’s shitty, no that wont do i want the best possible projects I can make, and if I cant do it best believe I will pay someone to produce and master anything that I have made. What makes me different as an artist? Well its a variety of things i could consider make me different. I’ll start from the top. My clothing style of course sets me different from my peers when it comes to making music or even just in my day to day life i try not to dress the same as anyone and will switch my style up 24/7. I also make my music in a way where i don’t necessarily like to make sense. Like on my unreleased track Drug Musik 2, I like to slur my words to give a good sounding effect when i record. It just sounds better to me. Honestly rapping aint nothing but talking over a beat and making it rhyme, and that beat has to match what your saying and vice versa. I cant rap over a pop beat and a pop beat wouldn’t sound good with my voice over it. Honestly all I want to accomplish in my life is getting a ton of money so it’s never a problem again, nothing more nothing less. To the music world I bring a eccentric subject, I am what the youth of my time is. Who we are and what we represent and how we represent it. In 5 years I see myself among the best rappers in my opinion. Up there with my favorites like Yeat, Ken Carson, Playboi Carti, Young Thug, Lil Baby etc etc. I want to be remembered as someone that the people know, someone who was influential and a very dope ass person that the fans loved.
