Turkey Cups with Sweet Potato Mash with Roasted Veggies
Hello my little lovelies! So the past two recipes I've posted are mostly shrimp recipes. Well today I have a turkey recipe for those of you who aren't very fond of seafood. This is a simple, easy recipe. It's a little time consuming but I promise you the results are AMAZING. All of the spices will be to taste since we're basically going to use the same spices over and over and I really don't measure anything.

Spicy Coconut Shrimp with Zucchini Over Rice
Hello, my little lovelies! So today's meal prep recipe was actually the product of a mess-up. I meant to make zucchini noodles with coconut shrimp, but I made a big mistake and the zucchini noodles over cooked, but they still tasted great in this recipe. This was the first meal prep recipe that I used shrimp in and it has become one of my favorite proteins to use in meal prep because 1) there's no fat and 2) it cooks fast and can take on any flavor you basically put on it. The way I see this and explain it is that it's a healthier version of the classic coconut shrimp from Chinese takeout. It still has the sweet coconut flavor but without the fattening cornstarch fried coating around it and here you can control the sweetness. I added a bit of a twist and threw in some red pepper flakes to add a bit of heat and to attempt to speed up my metabolism. Also adding vegetables to this (which is absent in coconut shrimp) makes this a lot more filling and satisfying and the best part is you don't feel bloated after eating this because it's dairy free so if you're lactose intolerant you're good to go in this recipe.

Spicy Curry Shrimp with Black Beans and Corn
Hello, my little lovelies! So as I stated before, I started meal prepping to lose weight and also save time once it comes to figuring out what I want to eat. One of my favorite proteins to use for meal prep is shrimp. It holds up quite well and it doesn't smell weird when you heat it up in the microwave. And one of my favorite things to use it in is curry, so I made this spicy curry shrimp and it is absolutely delicious. This can stay in your fridge for at least three or four days, it tastes absolutely delicious and it never loses its spice. This recipe is also great for those who don't eat dairy since the recipe requires coconut milk instead of dairy milk and also good for those who are pescetarian. If you don't like shrimp, you can switch this out with chicken or steak, or if you're a vegetarian, switch it out with tofu or any other meat substitute that you may have laying around the house. This recipe has lots of flavor, lots of spice, and is guaranteed to fill you up and warm your heart (and your mouth)!

Meal Prepping - Pros and Cons
I've been meal prepping for about two weeks now (consistently) and I've noticed some changes since I started meal prepping. A lot of people contemplate whether or not they want to meal prep because they feel like it takes a lot of work and that it's boring. Many people do it for different reasons but seeing as I've done it consistently myself, let me tell you the pros, the cons, and the changes I have noticed since I started.

Fitness Journal – How to Take Control of My Diet
Since I have started my fitness journey I have been thinking of ways to manage one of the main factors that has always pulled me down: diet. Once it comes to food I am just not strong enough to resist my fettuccine alfredo with shrimp or fried chicken with all of the fixings. Or a decadent chocolate cake with six different types of chocolate with a heaping scoop of strawberry cheesecake ice cream. So I have been racking my brain as to how I was going to get my diet under control so I can finally see some results. I have taken these few steps to overhaul my diet so that I don’t have any excuses for my diet anymore. We have to start with baby steps before we dive headlong into the big leagues. I tried that one time and I was miserable for at least six weeks just completely converting to veganism for Lent. So now that I’ve learned my lesson, let’s start with these baby steps!

Teachers With Tattoos
One of the most talked about topics nowadays is the rise in teachers or people who work in a school having visible tattoos. For years, teachers have decided not to get visible tattoos or tattoos period because it was thought they were setting a bad example for students.

4 Tips and Tricks for Valentine's Day for Your Date!
Valentine's Day is just around the corner! One of the stereotypical things about Valentine's Day is that it is when boyfriends and husbands pull out all the stops and make the night special for their girlfriend or their wife. I've never been particularly fond of Valentines Day, but when I met Adam he always pulled out all the stops for Valentine's Day, and I've had a few good ones since.

4 Healthy Treats for Your Furry Friend!
For all of those who have furry friends, we all know our dogs absolutely love treats. Unfortunately our four legged babies don't know when enough is enough. They are bottomless pits once it comes to treats. They are bottomless pits once it comes to anything really. With them being bottomless pits, they also tend to gain weight.

Vegan Pasta
Hello my little lovelies! So today I am back with a recipe that is all made in one pot. That's right, one pot! This is a simple recipe with very few ingredients. This is perfect for when you have kids screaming they're hungry or if you have husband is complaining that he's starving and hasn't eaten anything all day. This recipe literally takes no more than 45 minutes to make mostly because of the lentils but it tastes absolutely delicious and you can put in whatever vegetables you want to put in here or you can just leave it as is.

Recipe: Coconut Curry Tofu
Hello my little lovelies! Starting this year, I'm going to adopt a mostly vegan diet (please note I said mostly) in order to get back in shape and finally give my body the nutrition its been asking for a long time now. Everybody knows that I was anti-vegan for a long time, but I've been neglecting my body for too long and I need to start taking care of it. This vegan recipe is perfect for vegans and meat eaters alike, because, first off, it is delicious and, second, there are a lot of spices and flavors in this recipe that you won't even know that there's no meat in it. All you're going to know is that it tastes good so that is all you are going to care about. I mean lets face it, tofu absorbs any flavor that you put to it so if you put beef broth to it, you're going to taste beef instead of tofu.

Recipe: Veggie Packed Curry
Hello, my little lovelies! So, today I come back to you with another vegan curry recipe. This recipe is more vegetable heavy and doesn't really have any protein in it since I was really craving vegetables that day. This dish is perfect for those who had too much protein for the day and want to double up on their veggie intake. Now, this recipe is going to take a little on the longer side because there are squash and carrots involved in this one, and they can take a little bit to cook. But the end result is totally worth it and flavor town will be arriving in your mouth!
