@Vocal Team, can you add a feature where members can choose payment from monthly, half a year or yearly on the creator settings (for creator + members)instead of always submitting a request for them.

Both of these poems by Angela Hepworth merit more attention in my humble estimation (one has already been granted Top Story laurels, with good reason!) because they contain evidence of wit, sensitivity and the capacity to generate dynamic tension: https://vocal.media/poets/sharp-white; https://vocal.media/poets/ask-me-in-december-pi4f0p6t.

Me again. I know. I'm being greedy. I can't help myself but I accidentally came across Nanette M. Day today who hasn't posted on here for 8 months but her writing is great. I am raising my voice for her with this piece below: https://vocal.media/writers/filling-the-blank-page

  • I was always raised to respect money and how it's earned. Sadly, not everybody's taught this lesson. Even on the cloudiest of days, in the dingiest of rubble, I'll still pick up a penny that I find, cause it deserves better. I'm not rich, so I'll take all the help I can get. Pennies aren't chump change, but they sure can help a chump to change. So, check out this story by Brin J.. https://vocal.media/fiction/find-a-penny-eqmc015r

  • good work, keep it up

  • My five for this run, which I believe should be Top Stories Some fun from KJ Aartila https://vocal.media/poets/cheeky-igw40fw4 A great Eclipse piece from Kenneth cruz https://vocal.media/poets/webs-under-the-eclipse An excellent horror from Christy Munson https://vocal.media/horror/old-fear An intense piece from Stephanie Hoogstad https://vocal.media/poets/wendy-darling-s-grown-up And an Earthday poem from Andrea Corwin https://vocal.media/poets/earthday-everyday

  • Andy Potts10 days ago

First time on this. I mostly write about music and running, with a side order of beer. Trying to branch out into some fiction, and too scared to attempt poetry. A couple of pieces stand out for me: https://vocal.media/fiction/ice-cream-gothic-542f0yf2 - goth and funny, complete with ice cream. Not an easy combo to pull off, but Mike Singleton nails it. https://vocal.media/fiction/the-reluctant-reporter - I'm possibly late with this one, but Rachel Deeming's story brought back some memories of my early career (good and bad, definitely better as anecdotes of 'when I were a lad').

I'm Rachel and I do a lot of writing, currently doing a microfiction challenge where I am writing a story every day. Tiring but rewarding, like all the best things. These are my picks of the week: This poem by Victor Eaves is a corker: https://vocal.media/poets/a-sail-off-the-coast-of-time This lovely tribute to her grandma by Reiley moved me: https://vocal.media/poets/a-sail-off-the-coast-of-time This poem by angela hepworth which has echoes of a Richard Curtis film: https://vocal.media/poets/ask-me-in-december-pi4f0p6t This poem evoking the author's childhood transported me too: https://vocal.media/poets/island-4m4803q8 Marie Wilson's writing is always a delight to read and this one is no exception: https://vocal.media/poets/island-4m4803q8 And finally, if you have not checked out Suze Kay's Women Who Stay, well, I don't know what to say to you. Here's a link to chapter one. Great writing. It's already got Top Story but it needs to be read from start to finish. https://vocal.media/chapters/women-who-stay-1 Thanks, Vocal for providing this. I love finding these nuggets and bringing other readers to them.
