More Fees for Ryanair Passengers
Today Irish budget airline Ryanair has announced that it will be cutting the amount and size of carry-on luggage on their flights. This, it says, is imperative to the smooth operating of the airline as Ryanair claims that people with two carry-on pieces of hand luggage are the cause for the airline's constant delays.

When anyone embarks on any kind of journey, there is an expectation that the plan in one's head will, for most part, be completed. This expectation should be abandoned the moment you step from the optimistic certainty of the car, into the airport building.
Michael BlairPublished 7 years ago in WanderThings You Should Never Bring On A Flight
There are a few things that you should not bring on any flight. It is a known fact that bringing weapons of any kind on a flight is a very bad idea with severe consequences. You will go to jail. Also, bringing pets is another no go. You don’t want to have to deal with a barking dog or meowing cat. Avoid bringing liquids too. These will be taken away at the security part of the airport. There have been cases of terrorist trying to bring in liquid bombs. Lastly, avoid bringing lighters and sharp objects on planes. This is a given as you will be searched and questioned for bringing flammables. Overall, follow these flight etiquette rules and you will not be punished for your actions.

Right before I had decided to live in the highest skyscraper in Boulder, Colorado I had signed up for the CIEE Program. I saw studying abroad as one choice only and that was to re-visit Japan. If I went it would be my second time to visit the country and so maybe I chose the location as it seemed less scary and intimidating. Perhaps I picked the location out of curiosity of where my ancestors had lived. The trip had already been laid down in my life path in fact, as I did go to Tokyo and that did happen.

One thing that I can’t stand is how we seem to have lost even the illusion of “customer service” with such an important industry as Air Travel. Over the years the process became more miserable, and the space became more crowded. Somewhere along the way, we became cattle that could pay their own way. I recently traveled from San Diego to North Carolina with my girlfriend, Gigi and the Wee Lad. As things fell apart en route, Southwest Airlines made no moves to help the passengers with contingencies. Our trip ended with me keeping watch over a sleeping nine-year-old and his mother, in a strange airport.

Ever since I was a child in the 1950's, standing on the wharf of Melbourne pier to board the immense ship that was to take us to Europe, I have never recovered from the excitement of embarkation.

It began one Friday afternoon. I was just thinking about my schedule for the following week, which I needed to send out to some online students in order for them to book some slots with me the following week, when the phone rang. It was the company I do TEFL teacher training for. I usually teach once a month for 20 hours in Hull, East Yorkshire and another 20 in York. This month I’d been lucky and had spent the previous weekend delivering the course in Liverpool too. This was because the teacher for Norwich was ill and it was easier for the Liverpool teacher to cover Norwich and for me to teach in Liverpool. Now I was asked if I would like to teach 20 hours in Cork, Southern Ireland.
Nothing to Declare?: Revisiting the (Proposed Wider) Laptop Ban
Months after the federal Department of Homeland Security banned large electronic items on U.S. bound flights originating in the Middle East, the agency is ready to double down in unsettling ways, with a proposed ban on laptops and tablets in cabins of U.S. bound flights from Europe. It hasn’t happened yet, but there’s a sense that the Trump government is quietly laying the groundwork for putting a ban in place.

When footage came out of an innocent passenger being dragged out in cuffs from a United Airlines flight, the entire traveling world got into an uproar. The man, who was reportedly calm before he was ejected and beaten, became a symbol of an increasingly worrisome trend in travel.

Small Children NOT Guaranteed Plane Seat Next to Parent(s) Seriously, this issue has me baffled and I could use affirmation that I'm not alone. I know full well that some people will think I'm wrong, and that's okay, but someone else please tell me I'm not crazy. This practice should NOT be the norm, right?
