10 Subscription Boxes for Women
Women rule the world, but they can only do it with a little help; and no, I don't mean help from somebody (although, we all need that kind of help from time to time). I mean help in the form of empowerment. In embracing ability and in helping your personal growth in any way that is most convenient to you. But how do you get this kind of help? Luckily for you, subscription boxes for women have been gaining popularity over the years. It's true, whether you are sporty or artistic, looking for beauty products or products to cheer up your mind, or looking for ethical ways to have fun, there is a subscription box for women out there for you or your loved one.
Sasha KonikovoPublished 5 years ago in Viva10 Feminist Books About Dating
Let's start with stating something most of us probably already know—feminism is about equality. Plain and simple as that. It's not about one gender being better than the other, it's not about hating men unfairly, it's not women wanting to take over the world and have things better than anyone else; it's simply about creating true equality between genders. If you've seen more extreme examples of people claiming to be feminists and putting the other gender down excessively, please keep an open mind and remember that true feminism is just about equality.

Nicola P. YoungPublished 5 years ago in Viva 10 Misogynist Sites You Need to Know
Welcome to the “manosphere,” the man cave of the internet, where men engage in online communities, converse in forums and publish articles to share their take on anti-feminist beliefs. The men who participate in these groups often label themselves as the victim and charge women as the enemy. A popular example includes men who identify as involuntary celibates (incels), “red pillers” and pick up artists. Incels angrily blame women for not wanting to engage in intimate relationships with them and consider their denial to be an act of crime. It’s a flawed perception as these men feel it is a woman’s responsibility to cater to their desires. Belief systems like these make up the core of misogynist online groups that in turn lead to violent acts—such as Elliot Rodger who killed six people at Isla Vista before killing himself. Cyberspace is fertile ground when it comes to starting a movement and we must use it for good. Following the crimes committed by Rodger, additional online groups and misogynist sites have continued to pop up glorifying his acts, demeaning women, and spreading hatred against women in general.
Michelle EstevezPublished 5 years ago in VivaBooks Written by All of the First Ladies
It appears the memoirs of the First Lady began with Lady Bird Johnson. Since then, every first lady, with the exception of Pat Nixon, has written her memoirs. Some of them, as you will see, have also written other books as well as their memoirs. There were, of course, few before Mrs. Johnson that wrote their memoirs.
Paula C. HendersonPublished 5 years ago in VivaThe Five Things Every Femme Should Own
When I originally developed this list in my early 20s, I had relegated it just to "women," but as the science points to gender and sex as a spectrum, I've figured "femme" would be the most inclusive. These are my personal opinions, and therefore, more like guidelines than actual rules.

Laws Every Woman Should Be Aware Of
Women have a different experience when facing the world and its many different threats. Sexual harassment, rape, arrest, and domestic violence are all issues that keep women’s senses heightened, simply because they are women. They cannot defend themselves in the same way men can, which is why there are laws every woman should be aware of.
