Feeling Like Mom And Dad
You know how they say "it takes two to make a baby." Well, that part is most certainly true but what if that's the only part where the two actually work together? Then there's trouble. I've been with my fiance since we were 16 years old. We have two beautiful children and one on the way. Since I was pregnant with our son he has been there but not been there. Let me explain to you what I mean: when I was 3 months pregnant with our son he went to jail over something very stupid and had to do 8 months. So by the time he got out, our son was already 2 months old. He was so happy and excited. He took his role very seriously...for about a month.

I have recently become a new mom, and knowing one who has never had a child before I am sure many of you new moms can understand and relate to, is how tough it can be to adjust and learn what it's like to have a baby. Especially when you are doing it alone like me. Well, aside from the sleepless nights, endless sets of poopy diapers, and constant feedings. The bonding tends to pay off and make it all worth while. Within all of this it's easy among the constant caring for your child to forget about caring for yourself. I mean, come on, who has time to shower and clean the house or even remember to eat when you feel as if you're constantly running around for your child's benefit? I know I didn't and sometimes I still don't. You're supposed to sleep when they sleep right? So how ever could one suffice enough energy to work out, eat, shower, or watch tv just for themselves? One simply could not. I know I couldn't.
Bird's Nests
Birds build nests to lay their eggs in, to protect their young from predators and to keep themselves warm in winter. There are many different types of bird nests which are categorised by their type or style. This is based on where they are built, the characteristics of the nest and the materials that have been used to build the nests. Nests come in many different styles ranging from nests built on the ground or in trees to mud chambers or woven nests.

I'm a firm believer that dogs are truly the best friends that humans can have. However, not all dogs are the same — and some are definitely not a good match for families with small children, cats, or owners who aren't really adept at training animals.

Toddlers are not easy to handle; that's why people call this age "the terrible two's" or "the terrible three's." This is a time in your parenting career where your sanity will probably be put to the test, and to a point, many new parents might even say it's worse than the newborn stage.

As I stand back looking at this woman, I see an undeniably graceful, vivacious beauty. Her shoulder length, dark hair glistens as her light brown eyes sparkle with dark brown specks; there is an amazing gleam from within. Her eyelashes are to die for. With her elegant bone structure and high cheek bones, I know she is a European model. Such an even, smooth ivory skin tone, it looks almost too soft to touch, like that of a porcelain doll. I want to reach out and touch her face, but I dare not, I fear she may break. She is a tall woman, standing at five-foot eleven-inches, and I can see by looking at her structure she is athletic. Everyone else calls her by her given name, Vida, meaning life in Hebrew. I call her mom. She was born February 9, 1939, in Liverpool, England.

I'm not an everyday woman, I'm not sure where I belong, what my calling is or where I should be heading. I'm not sure I feel like everyone else or that I even have feelings at all. Today I want to write about me, tell you about who I am. I'm sure there is some scientific explanation for it all in why I don't feel, or have emotion, BUT that's another story for another time.
He Can't Hear You
I never know what to expect when I receive a text saying "We have a new family member." Growing up this could mean I could come home to anything. Kittens, puppies, horses, pygmy goats, a grumpy old donkey, rocks with faces painted on them, chickens, a step-sibling or two...I mean anything.
