My Experience with Cannabis
Cannabis, reefer, marijuana, and my personal favorite, jazz cabbage. All these nicknames for a flower that has been illegal since 1937 thanks to the marijuana tax act. Since then propaganda advocating cannabis to be both harmful and dangerous has been pushed by both government and religion, however newer studies have told us quite the opposite from these "trusted" institutions, so should we trust some lying suits in Washington D.C. some science article we read online? I say neither; trust yourself and don't let fear control your decision making. Being a frequent user, I would say it's not for everybody, but I do believe everyone should try it once to gain personal experience and understanding of this wondrous plant (in my opinion).
Jesse PedersenPublished 7 years ago in PotentHow I Lost 20 lbs with Cannabis
About four years ago, I was having a hard time trying to lose weight. The funny part of this story was the fact that I use to be a fitness coach for two years but due to stress from that workplace, I managed to gain 20 pounds. It is true that stress can either help you lose weight or gain it and with my luck, I gained. The stress came from my boss. She wasn’t a nice person and would make fun of our clients that were trying to lose weight. I took it upon myself to make our clients feel like they belong but I had to leave because that place was making my life harder and I didn’t want to continue to gain weight.

Well, I hope that everyone read my first story here, "Marijuana & Morphine... My Life in a Pill Bottle". Posted just a few days ago. Hopefully, everyone was able to stand the fireworks displays on the 4th! Me? Not so much. We can see five different fireworks shows from our end of the road, dead-end, where we have chosen to live. I grew up in upstate NY, left for the Army in '79, and as a result, I can no longer stand the shows. My hypervigilance kicks in and sends me into a state of fear/flashbacks. Even medical cannabis doesn't quite keep up with the hypervigilance. A cross I must bear.

Mom’s hot cocoa was very likely one of your childhood favorites, but have you indulged in the sugary drink since then? It is easy to get wrapped up in the responsibilities of adulthood, but once in awhile, it’s time to live a little and let yourself be a kid again—and what better excuse is there than hot chocolate?
How To Forget the Fog of War
“How many wars is the US really fighting?” blares the headline of a 2015 article. The answer, according to the author, Nick Turse, is that US Special Operations forces have already deployed to 135 nations, carrying out roles as advisors, performing secret operations, or actively engaged as the tip of the spear in war. Some of these operations have taken place in hot spots of the world like Afghanistan and Iraq. The seemingly imminent destruction of ISIS in Mosul bears testimony to the bravery and skills of all the soldiers who have taken up arms. Their victories will no doubt be cause for much relief, celebration, and national accolades for those that went above and beyond the call of duty; however, long after the fanfare and the last tweets have disappeared into the ether, some families will welcome soldiers with "invisible wounds" home. They will bear permanent mental scars of war.

I said goodbye to an old friend tonight. It’s the best and the worst friend I have ever had. Tonight was our last dance. Our last hurrah. Our last romp, if you will. But I had to let her go. Funny how I said her when clearly, I am into men. But that is how I see my friend. As female. Men don’t always make the best friends. But tonight, we were doing our last hangout. Our last session. She had been there through every relationship. Every high every low, my girl was there. But I realized that while my girl would motivate me, she gave me no follow through. Oh, she could spew ideas, but they were just blurts in her fogged perception.
The Day I Lost My Virginity...
In High Places: [07/03/2017] I’ll never forget the “true” day I popped my glorious green cherry. One good toke followed by what seemed to be the harshest and longest cough of my life was all it took.
In High PlacesPublished 7 years ago in PotentMarijuana Myths You Probably Believe
Of all the substances out there, cannabis might be the one that has the most myths surrounding it. If you think about it, there are probably more marijuana myths in circulation than there are myths about liquor, cigarettes, or even prescription pills.
