How To Make Pot Cocoa
Snuggle up on a cold winter day with marijuana pot cocoa.
Mom’s hot cocoa was very likely one of your childhood favorites, but have you indulged in the sugary drink since then? It is easy to get wrapped up in the responsibilities of adulthood, but once in awhile, it’s time to live a little and let yourself be a kid again—and what better excuse is there than hot chocolate?
The key to making your hot cocoa age-appropriate is adding one crucial ingredient: marijuana. Hot cocoa is child’s play in comparison to this holiday favorite: Pot Cocoa.
Pot-infused beverages can be finicky if you do not have much experience cooking with cannabis, but luckily for you, this recipe is fairly simple. One thing is for sure, though: this is not your mother’s hot cocoa.
Ingredients:
- 1-2 grams of finely ground cannabis (see Dosage section)
- 2 cups milk
- 1 teaspoon butter
- 1 cup water
- 3 tablespoons chocolate syrup
- Hot chocolate mix
- Mini marshmallows
- Whipped cream
Recipe:
Add cannabis to simmering water, butter, and milk on the stove. Let the mixture heat for 10-15 minutes at a minimal boil, not too hot. Place hot chocolate mix in a mug. Place a coffee filter over the mug and pour in liquid contents to strain out all cannabis residue. Add chocolate syrup and stir to mix. Top with mini marshmallows and whipped cream.
