Why It's Okay to Leave a Job That Makes You Unhappy
I believe in job longevity. I also believe in employee rights. Therefore, no matter how long you are at your job for, if you are not treated right, and if you leave work and go home and cry more times than not, then it is time for you to look elsewhere. I did just that on April 29, 2018, after being there for five years. Now I know what you might be thinking: 'You've been there for five years, so why not just deal with it and stay?' I tried that for almost a year. I had hoped that things would get better. They didn't. They got worse. I was miserable. I would cry at least three times a week as I was getting into my car to leave to go home.

As summer comes to its sweet ending, I can’t help but to get a bit sad as I look back at all the new memories created along with its endless amount of leisure and time. I am sure this doesn’t only apply to me. The early mornings for that sunrise or days to just sleep in forever. The free time to go out with friends and have fun doing whatever. Time for family and seeing loved ones that you haven’t seen in years. The extra time you can work and make some extra cash. Sometimes summer really does seem “endless”, and I truly wish it was. This summer is probably bittersweet to some, especially if you have just graduated high school and you’re ready to head off to college soon! What an exciting time it is for all of us as we start our new journey in life and make new friends along the way. Heading off to college is another adventure in itself, and it’s so crazy how the time has flown by. (And those commercials for dorm shopping can finally apply to us!) We are all saying goodbye to some of our closest friends and our families. It’s a sad moment to think about, however it is so important to not look back... look ahead! The best thing you can do is to be happy for everyone getting another fresh start and going on to experience new things. Hold on to the memories with those you love and look forward to making new ones. It’s hard to think that I am parting ways with some of my best friends who have been there for me through it all, but I am more than excited to see where life will take us and who we will meet along the way. Going to college holds so many new things to embrace. Find yourself. Go to that party. Network with people who have the same interests as you.
Jeanne-Marie BranchePublished 6 years ago in EducationFive Tips for Starting University
1. Stay organized. Do not buy a planner and then lose it in two weeks. If you want to survive university the easiest way possible, you’re going to want to eliminate that “Oh, crap!” panicked feeling that comes from realizing you have a paper due in two hours. I prefer to write things down by hand, but even if your planner is on your phone, utilize it. University is a lot of fun, but it can be extremely busy and overwhelming right off the bat. Professors expect a lot out of you, and they all think their classes are the most important, so you’ll be expected to complete all assignments to the best of your ability. Write everything down in your planner so you don’t forget to do them!
How I Started Writing
I can say that writing has been with me since I was a young girl—since the day I wrote my first short poem about family when I was about 10 years old. I was so private with my words, that I often would destroy pages. I turned to writing, to vent, and cope with things. As I grew older, I would start to write in diaries/journals. Writing became an escape, from many things that were going on in my life. I definitely didn't know then, that I was going through depression. It was very hard to talk about my feelings, but very easy to write about it.
Apple's $1 Trillion Dollar Evaluation
As the news has been constantly blaring recently, Apple now has a $1 trillion dollar market cap. That's $1,000,000,000,000. This doesn't mean that in their bank account $1T rests. In fact, it means that all of Apple's assets (like their huge new 'space ship' campus and all of their stores around the globe) and their income means that if somebody or some company wanted to purchase Apple, they would need to cough up around $1 trillion.
Alex JonesPublished 6 years ago in TraderHow To Jumpstart Your Career Like Warren Buffett and Steven Spielberg
Steven Spielberg and Warren Buffett are inarguably at the top of their respective fields. As a film director, Spielberg redefined the genre and pioneered the New Hollywood era of film. Rather than the arts, Buffett made his fortune through strategic investments and his diversified holding company Berkshire Hathaway. The career paths of these men could not be more different, but their beginnings are surprisingly similar. Spielberg and Buffett showed great tenacity and creativity at the beginnings of their careers, and it's what set them on the right career path to become the titans they are today. If you want to know how to jumpstart your career, the stories of these two men provide ample inspiration.

In my working career, whenever a boss has appeared in my proximity outright fear overtakes me. On the other hand, Executive Director Dottie Jordan of Mt. Kisco Childcare Center inspires something altogether different in me. I want—even though I don't always succeed—to live up to the progressive vision she has put forth in over 30 years of service. But on December 24, Dottie Jordan's tenure will come to an end. And while there'll be plenty of inspiration left to ensure that it will never do among this staff to "just look busy," MKCCC will still carry a void that can never be completely filled.

Summary A great dividend stock both appreciates in stock price and gives an added bonus of a growing yield through dividend payments.
