Pro Life
So you say that you are a proud member of the Pro-Life movement. When I hear somebody make that statement, I often have to use all of my self-control to not laugh. Before I go further, I will state that I absolutely believe there are people in this country who value life. It’s just that they all tend to be members of the Democratic Party and do not use the term pro-life. Of course, there is no way I can know everybody in the country, so I can’t say for certain that there aren’t Republican Party members who are genuinely pro-life. Then again, I also can’t say for certain that bigfoot doesn’t exist or that aliens don’t live among us. To me, it is very simple to see which side of the aisle actually cares about life and which side does not. If only laws regarding honest labeling applied to movements as well as food products.

Tryna "twerk a movement..."
19FEB2021; 2205, FRI Dear Famo, First and foremost, sincerest condolences regarding your fellow Texans that are now the dearly departed thx to sheer incompetence on account of their gov't. I'm dreading the all but inevitable time of having to explain such odious obtuseness, and asinine absurdity to my daughters someday soon.

Sleepless Ramblings
It's a cold Tuesday night and I can't sleep. Partially because the T.V. and light are on, but largely those facts just mask the racing in my head. Not manic racing more like stressed out cataloguing racing. I watched TV all day and responded to emails. I have money woes because I am American and not the Jeff Bezos variety. Naturally I worry about my kids and the state of the universe, and my husband snoring.

In Search of Unity, Freedom, and a Equality to Form a Greater America
We hear it being said often in recent months, even the last few years. "The country has never been more divided". There is plenty of blame cast around. The "far right" conservatives blame Obama. The "far left" Liberals blame Trump. The centrists are either content with letting it ride or they blame both sides. Government is seen as the enemy to nearly all sides. Of course, there are the ever present elites. Which elites depends on where your political ideology falls.

Controversial Subjects
According to Miranda, you have the right to remain silent. Per cliche', "silence is golden". According to the Bill of Rights, you have "Freedom of Speech". What does that all mean? I begin by sharing what it means to me.

In Canada, Affirmative Action Becomes a Matter of Life and Death
Last night, I realized something very disheartening about my country. I realized that my life is worth less here, because of the colour of my skin. No, I am not a “minority,” whatever that term means anymore. Waves of immigration over the last forty years have so changed the fabric of Canada, that even the woke set has realized the term has lost meaning in communities that are majority non-white. So, now we use the term “racialized.”

Facing "Ethical nazism"
Early this morning, after dealing with our cat's nausea episode and cleaning up consequences, I went back to bed, hoping to enter the dreamland again. I thought an article or two would help my body to relax and doze off. Oh, well, I signed up for a ride and it made some noise in my head.

The Broken Bootstraps of America
I have a story to tell, it's a story that often goes untold because of the shame that surrounds it. An unpopular story that needs a voice, but rarely receives a listen. It's a story that goes against what we've been taught, what we've ingested, and what's been woven into our very identity as Americans. I'm sharing this story because I feel that we've been told a lie. A damning one, at that. In fact, it's the greatest American lie of our times. And, I fear, it is breaking us.
