How do you start over? Some do it like a kamikaze: sell everything, Go to a new place, get a new job, build a new lifestyle. It seems so easy to do. On second thought, maybe not. Sometimes you have responsibilities holding you back and sometimes there’s no security blanket to have you covered.

That being said, it’s understandable the risks it takes to “start over” but patience is key. Bare it all. Hold your ground. Slowly but surely the world around grows and stops just like you do. Taking deep breaths while controlling your reactions helps for mindfulness. Moving forward means to not stop for too long so live in the present and hope for the future. The act of a mindful reset starts today as you start the day.

Doing nothing is a blessing and a curse. You fear the silence of the unknown and are separated from the constant movement of the world and the life around you. Doing nothing can put you at a standstill with life. The act of “doing nothing” is a way to decompress as well as separate yourself from the faculties that hold you. When tethered to the world, finding refuge within yourself can be the beginning to finding your oasis.

Without sound, without lights. From the city life or a suburban one, having been trapped in a silence of just you can make someone go mad. Overwhelmed with ones thoughts and over analyzing the reality of your truth is what it comes down to. Connect with yourself and the natures of life. Through the sounds of plant life and animals or just hearing the wind blow. Connecting with your inner self, changes patterns within sometimes bringing to surface what has been there all along. The true saboteur.

Jumping through time upon my release. You see so much of time that you can't repress. You close your eyes to find some peace and the outside just continues to beat you down. You fight through the noise and brace through all the impact until you hit it. Sometimes it takes someone special to bring you back from the path of the dark. It becomes so interesting when you are alone for too long that you drift into madness.

When you come face to face with someone familiar that all of that darkness simply just disappears. The feeling that you get from someone so close when you're in the pinnacle of darkness and a light shines on you that brings you out of it. Having that light to help bring you back from going so down. You realize you not only have a light to shine your way but you learn to grow your own light so you can shine bright like a diamond. Along with the lights they lit your way.

At times you feel at ease. At times you feel a slump. Tired without hope. You travel through stride and come face to face your own fears. Moments of curiosity pull you in and familiar memories slowly locks itself with hidden keys. All that comes to surface is the void. A void that holds all.

The void reminds you, why never to look back. Neither good nor evil, the void is just is. Feeds on the one but cant take 2. Having another person with you helps to bring on the light. The void may exist but ultimately, so do you. Forever surviving and continuing to exist.

Walking for a bit to feel the earth, the air. You see the sight of an old thing in a new sight. The image of happy and beauty comes to surface while a glimpse of opportunity sparks. A blink of an eye teleports you to a reality. The absence of fear and anxiety holds to a strong minimum. Preparations of self and boundaries established. Disciplined for independence, your choices are your own and growth. The struggles are enticing while fueling for pursuit. You see the want and the right to make it through, You see your truth of what to do, so go ahead and do you.
