Christianity is a religion that loves suffering. The symbol of Christianity is the cross. True followers of Christ walk the same path of cross and believe this is the only narrow way for sinners.

When we pray to God, God will reveal us his heart of love through the out pouring of the Holy Spirit. Do you have the experience that you have a sense of lost when you fail to sustain a relationship? How do you feel like when you lose a person you love? Or do you feel lonely when you find yourself lack the capacity of love?

God has the greatest sense of lost after the fallen of mankind. God love each one of us and is willing to bear the sin himself and die on the cross for us to turn our hearts back to him. When people reject him and turn away from him, we hurt his heart. God create many sons and daughters. But not every children love him back. God suffered the greatest pain after the fall of Adam. When we pray, we can feel the weight of the cross. We can feel what Christ is bearing for a person of a place when we participate into the cross by praying.

Cross is the extreming revealing of the sin of men and love of God. Hatred and murder is what our sin bring to this world and to the son of God. Love and redeeming death is how God treat our sins and save this world.

We are very weak in love. We are not mature in love. We tend to love the person we can love and bond by our feelings and emotions due to the original sin. We may lift up ourselves and look down upon others. We may justify our wrongdoings and judge others in a narrow mind. We cann't see our self centeredness when we are spiritually young but learn the heart of humility and serving when we receive more serving and grace from Jesus and grow more mature.

That's why we need cross everyday to die to ourselves and unite with the heart of Jesus.

Jesus said love your enemies. Jesus said I came to serve, not to be served, and to give his life as a ransom for many. Jesus lives in a close relationship with his father. He bears the heart of his father every moment. The heart of father is love. So he reveals us the love of father and he is the true son of God. Jesus said "I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one come to the father but by me. If you had known me, you should have known my father also. " Without Jesus, sinners will be deceived by arrogance and unable to differentiate the right and wrong. Adam and Eve ate the fruit of the tree of knowledge of good and evil and thought they could be like God to judge. We are the descendants of them and have the same tendency. However, we need to bow down before the cross every morning we wake up .

This is a life long way of sanctification. Every one needs to battle with the temptation from Satan everyday to let us fall and separate from Jesus. Everyone has their duty to get closer to the bible truth and refuse the lies of Satan and walk this path of sanctification.

Jesus said whoever doth not bear his own cross, and come after me, cannot be my disciple.

Everyday we have a severe battle with the devil. But we are under the guidance of the Holy Spirit.

The more we receive love and care and humbling seving from Jesus, we will be easier to surrender ourselves to him and to the true love of living.
