Managing pressure and compelling feelings
At the point when you are scared or feel jeopardized, your breathing and your heartbeat animate to allow you a superior opportunity of either fleeing from the danger or safeguarding yourself against it. At the point when the danger is disposed of, your body gets back to its pre-stress state.
Mashud M AlfoyezPublished 3 years ago in PsycheIn-Person College as a Mentally Ill, Disabled Woman
Week 1 I've been in college for about 3 semesters now. All of which have been completely online except for my ASL (American Sign Language) class over the summer. They've gone well. I'd gotten mostly As and Bs, one C (cause I switched majors and just decided not to do the final project, also I was in a mental institution), one F (due to a mental health crisis and an uncooperative teacher), so I'd say I'm doing pretty well so far.
L. J. KnightPublished 3 years ago in PsycheA Turtle Telling Time
Sea turtles were once regarded as the time-keepers of the ages by the sages and mages. That is, perhaps, why they live so long. These patient reptiles stay to record the times of its beats and measures on the scutes of their shell spines. Turtles in general are catalogued as 'slow' travelers. I beg to differ. Soil or sea, they migrate according to magnetic force of resistance and flow. By phenomenon of weight and matter, they balance time to the numerical state of zero. 'Slow' (or 'fast') is reserved for both the objective and subjective.

I was running away. “Mitzi.” I was running away as fast as I could. “Mitzi, are you asleep?” I heard a voice speak slowly.

I've been writing many maudlin memoirs lately, I thought I would take some time and think about all the good things in my life right now. I have to admit, it is pretty hard to find bright and hopeful things with me painting everything gray all the time, but I will do my best!
Guenneth SpeldrongPublished 3 years ago in PsycheMy life is a soap opera
Between growing older, having kids, almost dying and just life complications in general I have been through a lot and learned a lot. It doesn't always work out in my favor, even with all of my knowledge and wisdom I've gained over the years. So, I've decided to write a mini series of different times and events that have happened. I've already written a couple so i wont back track, Ill just add them to the series of the soap opera that is my life.

For people who are fighting with addiction, outpatient drug rehab facilities are becoming more popular. The advantages of outpatient rehab over inpatient drug rehab centers are numerous. One, there are no overnight stays at the detox center. Patients can visit the facility for counseling and aftercare is generally provided by the professionals at the treatment facility. I Have the Face of an Idiot
I have the face of an idiot. Let me explain. About ten years ago I was temping in the offices of a large insurance firm. I'm not going to say it was the dullest job I've ever done... actually, I am going to say that. It was the dullest job I'd ever done. It was a bastion of boredom. I've had more exciting visits to the toilet.

Triple f Fight for friendship Topic is the thing where l don't match, dude. Depression is the thing that gets me much, dude. There are some diseases that officially make people depressed. I have one of them. Now my mission is to spread it. I will start now. What to say? What to do? Ah! I suck at making people depressed. I am good for nothing. But l will try my best to at least annoy you with my words. Reading is very good. Books always put interest in you, always wanna bring you closer to it. Books always share. But writing is better. As most of the time we have so much to share. But reading + writing is the best combination. Find people who have human friend (don't ignore the word "friend ") to gossip the way they want to. I don't have any and can hardly find it among others. Books gossip with you when you read. You gossip with the fairy world when you write in your own way. This combination fulfills one of the basic necessities of having a friend.
Nitu HowladerPublished 3 years ago in PsycheFinding Grace in Triggering Times
There comes a time in every little girl’s life when she must pull on her big boy pants and call it how she sees it! Let’s just say I’m one leg in. Intentionally so. Amidst the unprecedented times we are facing I have more common sense than bullishness to lay all my cards on the table in such a public forum, but it would be remiss of me to overlook the big, fat, glaring elephant in the room.
