Spiders are my favorite animals. I've always loved them for as long as I can remember, ever since I was a little kid. Charlotte's Web was one of my favorite books and cartoons. This also partially inspired my passion for animal rights, including a decade of vegetarianism.

Do You Remember Where You Were?
Memory is something that we all grasp onto and don’t want to let go. However, as we age, some things we start to forget bit by bit. It is just the nature of things. However, some things are so imprinted in your mind that you will never forget. I have several things that have happened that I will always remember, whether I want to or not.

Why I Don't Look Back
I moved to Wichita almost 9 years ago from a small town about an hour from here. That town had 1200 people. Wichita is the largest city in Kansas. Well, big by their standards. I grew up on the East Coast and in Texas, and it’s clear that Kansans don’t get what “big” means. New York, Miami, and Atlanta are big. This is a large town.
