Thunder and Lightning

Menacing thunder crashes

Electrical lightning flashes

A violent, chaotic storm rages

Wrath and misery released from cages

Searching for a place to hide

As the storm takes his side.

Savage thunder rumbles

Bright lightening tumbles

A tornado forms destroying all in its path

Feeding off uncaged misery and wrath

Assaulting all her favorite things

Destruction is what a storm brings.

Howling thunder roars

Lightning joins the wars

Harsh winds batter and bruise

Cold rain flooding with abuse

She fears the storm will never end

And its wreckage will never mend.

Distant thunder becomes faint

Lightening ceases with restraint

The storm recedes leaving the damage exposed

Wrath and misery returns, the cages are closed

The sun shines on the broken pieces scattered

Her strength and courage has been shattered.
