Happiness isn't gift-wrapped

Happiness isn’t gift-wrapped

It won’t come in shiny paper with an intricate bow on top

You can’t order it off of Amazon or find it in the aisles of Target

Happiness can’t be stolen

You can’t cut it from someone else’s life and expect it to fit you

Raining on their parade or stealing their umbrella won’t work

Happiness needs light

You can’t be unkind or send bad vibes into the universe

It thrives off gratitude and blossoms under kindness

Happiness doesn’t need to be big

Cherish the little things, they will stack up to be something big

Enjoy the sunshine on your face or laughing with your love

Happiness is possible

Soak up the joys in your life and expel the aches and pains

Don’t reject the light or hide from the truth inside of you
