The Echoes of Lost Love

Memories of a Heartbroken Soul

By John Kents Published about a year ago 1 min read

In solitude, I sit and ponder

The memories of our love and wonder

How we drifted apart and asunder

Leaving my heart to break asunder

I recall the sweet nothings we shared

The gentle touch, the way we cared

But now, our love is beyond repair

Lost to the winds, leaving me impaired

I miss the warmth of your embrace

The sound of your laughter, your grace

Now all that remains is a hollow space

In my heart, where our love once had a place

The echoes of our love still linger

Haunting me like a bitter finger

Tears fall, my heart still aching

As I try to move on, but it's forsaking

I know I must accept our love is gone

But the pain lingers, like a sad love song

As I walk alone, through life's journey long

The echoes of lost love, a constant throng.
