In my heart, there is a flame A fire that burns with endless love A love that never fades away A love that's sent from above
By John Kents about a year ago in Poets
With every beat, my heart cries out your name, Longing for your touch, your love's eternal flame. In your eyes, I see a reflection of my soul,
The memories we shared, Now seem like a distant dream, A love that was once so strong, Has shattered, or so it seems.
Love, oh love, how sweet it once was Like a flower in full bloom, it shone bright But now it withers, and fades away Leaving only memories of its once joyful sight
In solitude, I sit and ponder The memories of our love and wonder How we drifted apart and asunder Leaving my heart to break asunder
In the garden of my heart, Once bloomed a rose so bright, But now it's wilted, torn apart, Left me with a painful sight.
My heart aches with the weight of love, A love that was never meant to be. Memories haunt me every day, Of a time when you were close to me.
When love dies, it withers away, Leaving behind a heart full of sorrow, A soul that's lost in endless dismay, With no hope for a better tomorrow.
Memories of love now make me weep, As I lay here in the dark, unable to sleep, I miss the moments we spent together, The memories that now seem so far and distant.
My heart is shattered, my soul is torn For love has left me all forlorn I gave my heart, I gave my all But love refused to heed my call
Our love was once a beautiful thing But now it lies in ruins A broken bond, a shattered dream Leaves our hearts in ruins
In a world where love is supposed to conquer all, We found ourselves trapped in a love that was destined to fall. We laughed, we loved, we dreamt of a life together,
