surreal poetry
Surrealist poetry embodies the essence of poetry itself, drawing upon shocking imagery and lyrical incongruities to comment on the inner-workings of the mind.
The Symphony of the Spheres
The Symphony of the Spheres In celestial harmony, they dance and play A cosmic orchestra, in a celestial way The spheres, a symphony, of sound and light A heavenly music, that fills the night The stars, a chorus, of twinkling delight A celestial choir, singing in perfect sight Their voices echoing, through the vast unknown A symphony of wonder, that's forever grown The planets, a percussion, of rhythmic beat A cosmic drumline, that echoes through the seat Their orbits weaving, a tapestry so fine A symphony of motion, in a celestial rhyme The moon, a soloist, of gentle grace A lunar serenade, in a celestial place Her phases changing, like a musical score A symphony of beauty, that we adore

Navigating To Unknown Shores
* The voice of the sea gently whispers to meWith soft, salty whisps of the wavesDancing on a breeze with the sway of the treesunder the light of the moon, in its phaseTranquil fireflies' glow, on a shelf, in a jarAs it mimics a dim lit cigar Dusk settles into its evening array bringing day to its glorious endSmoke clouds linger, navigating dreams, unawareRedirecting destinations when searching for nowhereAs I begin reckoning the hues of myself Caressed under a canvas of endless star light Dancing somewhere on the horizon, chasing clouds out of sightWhile yesterday quietly bids me, come home
