surreal poetry
Surrealist poetry embodies the essence of poetry itself, drawing upon shocking imagery and lyrical incongruities to comment on the inner-workings of the mind.
CANCER
Born in a dark shell without a shadow so I'm created fierce. I'm ready to roar! now my vision out of sight. I ain't ready to fight. Life pushed me in heavy. This place too live and this heart beating on my Simba's pride. Body pour through the bayou like fresh streams of Safari. A treasure glittered in wonder. how come I've never been here before. Gracefully walking down my brand new. I am Warrior, defender of thee castle. Not a soul in view to stop me. I am king, queen, future leader of my fight. Grow stronger to aim higher. Mufasa swinging loud bangs as I glide with pride. ( pride rock) Chest arched ,head risen. tribal flow. 5th Avenue,, Shaka Zulu bounce. Dance in my finesse . Feeling this thunder! So I'm gone roar louder. Village under attack . This scar creeped up on me fast. I'm sick body bruised and misuse. This prey came quick knocking me off my Prime. I fell hard yet you won't win. Came out of a dark place still my light can shine gold. Sick with a nasty Beast. You won't win you can't win. I ain't ready to fight . I ain't ready to quite either. This sickness was never a friend it was a frenemy. Body cold so cold but you won't win. Fell from high. still I survived. I've survived cause I know I can win. I'll win. come harder swing harder than Mike Tyson fight. I'm warrior I don't come to play . open my eyes big smiles. Ready to shine like the Horizon. cancer you shall be beat. I got a lot of life yet. you shall be defeated. I'm stronger.. I'm strong.. cancer you are the frenemy that will never win

Green Screen Rehearsal
Was I crazy to think that with a wink you could take me back to the place I used to dream of monsters wearing green. You said you had seen it before sometime in the summer of ‘04. Being scared silly and acting slap happy as Big Papi sent one screaming out of the park. Fenway at dusk is something everyone must see. If I come clean and tell you what I fear the most will you still sleep with my ghosts?
