I am Virgo: Hear me Roar!

A Poem

By Rachel LightfootPublished 6 years ago 1 min read

Earthy head and fiery heart,

I am set alight with every restart.

The embers of Mercurial logic

Which was once ablaze,

Make snowflakes of ash

And dance in the shade.

Prideful and bashful,

But never quite stable.

The scales never balance

For, they are not able.

Forged In flesh from

Earth, Air, Fire and Water,

Pinched by the Scorpion’s tail.

I embody a silent kind of rage,

Repressed for an age:

A lion in Virginal clothing takes to the stage…
