Christian Poetry: "Young Oak Tree"
This is an original poem that analogizes the new Christian to a young oak tree. It speaks of the importance of ensuring those coming to Christ are discipled and have a strong foundation (roots), for when trials and temptations come (the four winds), they might not be able to stand. My poem is also a reminder that every new creation in Christ takes on a fresh identity (a strong and tall oak), and they should always remember who they are in Him and what they have the potential to be.

Christian Poetry: "Come, Draw Near"
The first book of Isaiah delivers a powerful call to reconciliation from our Lord as He beckons us to draw near and be made clean. The following is a poem that I wrote in making the Scripture more personal, in a testimony-like fashion, pondering the relentless love of God. The call still goes out to everyone today, including you, dear reader.

Christian Poetry: "Cross of Shame"
I wrote this poem in reflecting on the weight of what Jesus did for us on the cross and how He took our shame on that tree. Therefore, when we repent and turn to Christ, we need not hold onto shame but look to the One who bore it on our behalf.
