The Unspoken Goodbyes
When two stubborn souls fall in love and break up, the damage cannot be mended easily... Living in a generation where it is considered weak for the men to reach out first, and so-called desperate for the women to reach out, we end up going into our own dark holes for a while, ultimately living out a lie until something so-called better comes along...

Use Your Voice
I bared my scars to cold, blind eyes and spoke of shame and pain They all denied the broken bones and refused to see the stain ...but strangers saw the bleeding wounds they held my shaking hands While those who shared my blood and name refused to understand... They turned the blame to save themselves and said, " That's just our way ." They demanded grace they never gave and washed the truth away I fought the ghosts of starving nights and blades that cut too deep and now the court room of my mind is falling fast asleep I'm tired of holding up the truth to those who will not see If I don't stop shouting in the dark... What will be left of me? Will writers block consume the space where trauma seems to bleed? When I have nothing left to say... Will my voice die or recede?
