Love poems for hopeless romantics; I'm the poet and you're my muse.
Two Roads Tonight
[Verse 1 I hide my wedding ring in the drawer by our bed And I hate how my betrayal burns from the lies I have said One lover's hands helped build my life While the other lover's hands hold the truth I deny So I ask... Which kind of pain can I live with When I must choose between them both tonight? (chorus) Two roads tonight, two roads tonight Do I Hold my wifeās hands or do i watch my destiny die Two roads tonight, two roads tonight One holds my history, one gives meaning to my life Two roads tonight, two roads tonight [Verse 3] I've laughed with my wifeĀ inĀ sunday's sunshine While remembering how the same sun lit up the other one's eyes I'm addicted to the passion burning deepĀ inside I'm addicted to the wreckageĀ I designed So I ask... Which kind of pain can I live with When I must choose between them both tonight? [Bridge] If I stay... I lose myself If i go... I lose my home If I speak... I break them both If I hide... I end up alone [Chorus] Two roads tonight, two roads tonight Do I Hold my wifeās hands or do i watch my destiny die Two roads tonight, two roads tonight One holds my history, one gives meaning to my life Two roads tonight, two roads tonight Two roads tonight, two roads tonight

Love Me Correctly
Verse 1 I've spent so many nights asking myself where we stand I'm done excusing your manipulating lies So, my love, here is my only demand If you say you love me. You gotta, prove it to me every day If that is too much to ask of you, I will simply walk away Verse 2 Don't call me yours If you can't treat me right Don't make me question us through another sleepless night I will no longer wait for you to make up your mind Just one more broken promise, And I'm leaving you behind Chorus Love me correctly or Leave me alone Don't call me on the phone Don't drive past my home Choose me completely or let me go There can be no dancin' in the inbetween, Baby, I can stand on my own two feet Love me correctly or leave me alone Verse 3 Babe,I know what I need And I know what I won't take I won't keep picking up the pieces Trying to fix our mistakes I would rather leave Then keep living in this doubt If you cannot love me right, Babe, Count me out Chorus Love me correctly or Leave me alone Don't call me on the phone Don't drive past my home Choose me completely or let me go There can be no dancin' in the inbetween, Baby, I can stand on my own two feet Love me correctly or leave me alone Love me completely .... Or leave me alone

I Blame It on the Teachers
I Blame It on the Teachers I blame it on the teachers who told me what was right, Who filled my head with questions and my notebooks full of life, They taught me how to read the words and how to make them rhyme, But never warned me love could steal your heart and waste your time.
